Many additional library objects for airport designers Fire Trucks Cherry Pickers Construction Vehicles Police SUV Cars Grass Runway Markings Compass Roses Colored Polygons Hangars & Utility Sheds Class F Jetways New Apron Lights Mobile Helipads Angled Roofs Added weather effects to all flat roofs General New setting to disable mouse wheel zoom separately for external and internal views (Settings -> Accessibility). Additionally, you can now assign a modifier key: this means zooming will only work while holding that key, helping to prevent accidental zooming during regular mouse use. Birds will no longer cause damage unless “birdstrike” is set on the failures screen Hardware Support Thrustmaster Full support for the new SOL-R 1, Thrustmaster’s next-gen Flightstick, designed specifically for flight simulations. MOZA Full support for MOZA’s impressive new line of flight simulator hardware. This release supports the AB9 FFB Base with the MH16 Flightstick, the MTP Throttle, and the MTLP Panel. SimFlight Services Support for the rotAIR modules from SimFlight Services, enhancing your sim experience with high-fidelity input. Fixes and Enhancements ATC Added support for continual circuits (touch & go) General Save the last airport the user was on ground at instead of the last airport overflown for “Resume Flight” Fixed various translation issues Technical Notes Linux Fixed an issue when using the Steam installation of X-Plane on Linux, when Steam was installed using a snap package. Please note, that snap installations are not supported by Valve (XPD-16840 System Spec 1: Nvidia RTX 4090, AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, Res 5120x1440, HP Reverb G2System Spec 2: AMD Radeon RX 7900XT, Intel I-9 9990K, Res 3840x1080, HP Reverb G2
July 4, 2025Jul 4 This "Disable mouse wheel zoom" Took them long enough, Good grief... Now, they need to implement fine adjustments using the mouse scroll wheel. AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, RTX 4080S, Ram - 32GB, 32" 4K Monitor, WIN 11. Eric Escobar
July 4, 2025Jul 4 Also, more fine adjustments to the Graphics Settings like we use to have before, hahaha! Alexander Colka
July 4, 2025Jul 4 I don't get the hate for mouse wheel zoom. I've probably just learned to live with the occasional failed manipulator adjustmment scroll. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days

Because the scroll wheel is also used to adjust the knobs in the avionics systems. If you are slightly off, and or if you are flying in turbulence, then it becomes a nightmare trying to dial in a simple frequency, etc... My guess is someone important raged a bit at constantly accidentally zooming while using Austins new physics based camera in turbulance. AutoATC Developer

Or when we pass our youthful years, become less twitchy and have less precision with the mouse 🤣 System Spec 1: Nvidia RTX 4090, AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, Res 5120x1440, HP Reverb G2System Spec 2: AMD Radeon RX 7900XT, Intel I-9 9990K, Res 3840x1080, HP Reverb G2
July 5, 2025Jul 5 Commercial Member I forget who it was but I remember someone saying it wasn't going to get fixed because "in turbulence, it's difficult to manipulate knobs and switches in real life too". Thankfully they have seen sense 😂 Developer of Self-Loading Cargo - The Cabin Crew and Passenger Simulation Addon for MSFS, X-Plane, P3D and FSX

I presume your explanation was for the benefit of readers unfamiliar with X-Plane. If it was not, consider me offended for assuming I did not know all that. Mouse wheel in turbulence isn't a nightmare anymore. Not after having experienced VR with a controller, which requires you to physically rotate your wrist to tune a knob all while remaining pointed at the manipulator. Try that in turbulence. 14 hours ago, mSparks said: My guess is someone important raged a bit at constantly accidentally zooming while using Austins new physics based camera in turbulance. A knobster solves that 🙂
July 5, 2025Jul 5 Anyone know if the FlightFactor planes work in the current Beta? Specifically the 777 v2. Windows 11 Pro, Intel Ultra 270K at 5.7 GHz, Asus RTX 5070TI,48 GB ddr5 Trident Z 8000mhz CLK 40, 4TB M.2 x 1, 2TB nvme
