We are releasing the 1.0.4.1 updates for both MSFS 2024 Experimental and the MSFS 2020 versions. You will be prompted to install the updated iFly Manager before you can get these updates. Please see the attached PDF below for more information. For MSFS 2020, we have the previous MSFS 2024 fixes also applied (as they apply to MSFS 2020). These updates do not require a full reinstall, but be aware that MSFS will need to rebuild the WASM file the first time you load the updated aircraft.

It is not a bug.
The display area in half and full map mode is not the same, the current logic is right.

With parking brake set the aircraft still moves forward with enjins started, what am I doing wrong?

 

Are you positive they are set? Lever is in the upward position and the red warning light is on?

Yes, positive, when stepping on the brakes they then release,but with them in upward position with red light on it still moves forward, very annoying

Hmmm. Still considering this for 2024 seeing how this is the only available (or native) 737 series for 2024? It looks well made and people seem to love it!

Just means it takes awhile to load the plane the first time.

good to see it also applies to FS2004 as indicated by the tag of the OP 😉

jokes aside, nice update. the max flew nicely from LGRP to LOWS and then LOWS to EDDM.

and yes, RTFM which I did not but how to you use this quality of life fix? I thought I saw something about right click the LSK but that did not work? have to admit I did not use the EFB though as I still dont't like its clumsy though realistic handling, just in case that is needed before I can apply this fix:

It flies great and performs about as good as the PMDG 737's. The sounds are leagues better, the EFB is leagues worse. Despite what people say LNAV being more reliable than PMDG's it also has its quirks. 

What speaks a bit against it for me personally even though I like flying it, is that I, as someone who exclusively flies his airliners on real world live operations, that the MAX is usually used for flights well above 2.5 hours length. 

In that regard I still wait for the NG's to be relased to finally get more oportunity to fly shorter routes and more sectors a day.

That's why it didn't work. You have to set your weights in the EFB first and calculate your peformance before you can use the right click on the LSK's for quick insertion of the the ZFW and CG.

It says the update is for 2024 and 2020. The post title only says 2024??

Very welcome updates to an already very very reliable aircraft. Nicely done!

No improvement in HUD guidance? That's disappointing.

Beware, some, including me, seem to have WASM compilation issues in MS2024 with this new version.

The aircraft outside model does not load, only a skelleton cabin. The Pilots are in their seats when you go in the cockpit and the EFB can't be powered up.

Already been discussed on their Discord, advice is to uninstall and roll back.

 

Edit: I fixed it myself without rolling back. If you run into this issue just run the layout. json generator. This can be done inside the Ifly Manager.
