July 29, 2025Jul 29 First Look Preview! MH-60 From Miltech\Blackbird Simulations | MSFS 2024 Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
July 29, 2025Jul 29 Very nice indeed! I can live without all the weaponry, so that Coast Guard MH-60T is definitely my cup of tea. Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org

July 29, 2025Jul 29 Another helicopter that goes from VSI 0 to -2.500ft/min to +500ft/min in a few seconds...that's not realistic at all, I am almost sure this is Microsoft's fault because I see it in all helicopters, I hope Microsoft gives some love to helicopters soon: Edited July 29, 2025Jul 29 by Soul Rebel +
July 30, 2025Jul 30 Coast Guard How Cool is that. Ron MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.

I feel tempted ... since it’s coming from both MilViz and MilTech, I think it’s a pretty safe bet given their respective track records. Love the fact that it has a full glass cockpit, too! combined with the mission system, this should be a No Brainer purchase. I’ll still wait a few days after release to see how the reviews turn out, just to be sure. 🤙
July 30, 2025Jul 30 Can't say I'm impressed. The main rotor does not seem to have any flexing (flapping) when generating lift which is why you see the blade tips in the pilots view all the time. Not realistic at all! Animation of the blades also very poor in my opinion. Also it seems the MH-60T variant does not feature the 5 MFD's of the Tango version: "*Note: In this simulation, the MH60T is depicted as "external model and cabin only", sharing its cockpit and avionics with the S and R models, rather than using the CAAS (Common Avionics Architecture System)." Disappointed as I was looking forward to this one, but have been somewhat put off. Hopefully it will be improved. July 30, 2025Jul 30 Looks good. I'll probably grab one. But what I'd really like is the MH-53 Pave Low. I blame Tom Clancy. Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

But at least they have no need for anti-tank missiles. 😄 Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org

A normal category GA fixed wing aircraft can take +3.8G / -1.52G. I can spin aircraft or deep spiral it recover and establish positive rate of climb within a second without overstressing it. It can't be done in helicopter? What about autorotation? How many hour do you have in helicopters in what kind? Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F). After watching that video, my enthusiasm is also dampened. on one hand, I couldn’t care less if the T is a livery-only variant. otoh, the center panel looks like a highly flight sim centric departure from reality at first glance, and that’s quite disappointing if true. the rotor effects are also disappointing, but I’m pretty sure those will get fixed. the thing I’m really apprehensive about is that flight model and how it handles turns and such. all in all, what I see is enough to send me rushing to find reference e material, and that’s not what I consider confidence inspiring. 😮

How many hour do you have in helicopters in what kind? Of course a helicopter can take +/- G and an autorotation is an emergency maneuver not an aerobatic one. What I can't get is where do you want to get with this (english is not my mother tongue), I just said based in the video that at a normal approach that kind of suden changes on the VSI is not reallistic at all.
