LCLK - iniBuilds vs JustSim – Which Is Better?

Featured Replies

I noticed iniBuilds has their own Larnaca (LCLK) airport for MSFS.
It looks good in the screenshots and the price is quite low, but I’m wondering how it compares to the JustSim LCLK.

Has anyone tried both?
Which one looks and performs better, and is it worth switching?

I'm pretty partial to the IniBuilds version 😉
Despite that to dispel any confusion, ours is only compatible in FS2024 so that should factor into your decision.

I have both. The JustSim one is pretty old now and the Ini version models the interior, although there's plenty of low res ground visible on the airside which detracts a bit from the experience. Overall for me a 7/10 for the latest one.

JustSim is not really playing in the same league, far from it.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Cry more. It's always the tone in which something is critizised which will lead to a ban.

I have been critical about the flaws of the A350 on the forums, called it overpriced for what it delivers. And no one banned me. Go figure...

i did a lot less and got banned as have quite a few people.  half baked aircraft and unoptimised scenerys,

both over hyped, and with pointless eyecandy so the new flightsim kids can spend their money.   In my opinion

🤣🤣🤣 That’s a pretty pathetic viewpoint. You seem to suffer from myopia. I love my eye candy and am neither new to flight simming, nor a kid. I can see why you got banned from their forums.

The interior looks very realistic (I’ve been to the real LCLK airport multiple times).
Is there any chance to release MSFS 2020 compatibility? I mainly use it.

Sadly, there is very little chance of that. They even seem to be reluctant to release updates for MSFS 2020 versions of airports that were released for both simulators. A good case in point would be LOWI Innsbruck. I reported some time ago that the runway centreline and displaced threshold arrows were badly misaligned. I subsequently asked them again if this was in progress, and they reported that it had been fixed. So I checked again via IniManager, and noted that version 1.0.3 had been released with this correction (plus several other fixes and features), but it was for MSFS 2024 only!

Why on Earth was the centreline issue not fixed for the MSFS 2020 version at the same time?? That was the version stated on my initial report of the problem!!

This is really frustrating 😥 — everything is ready for MSFS 2024, but I mainly fly the PMDG 737, which still hasn’t been released for it.
I don’t want to use workarounds (even though I know it’s possible) to make it run in MSFS 2024.
