Note: As of NGX SDK 310.4.0, presets A-E have been removed. Presets G, H, I are reserved and should also not be used.

Presets are subject to change with each revision but the following serves as a general guide for experimentations with the current presets:

- Preset F (intended for Ultra Perf/DLAA modes): The default preset for Ultra Performance mode.

- Preset G (Unused): Do not use – reverts to default behavior

- Preset H (reserved): Do not use – reverts to default behavior

- Preset I (reserved): Do not use – reverts to default behavior

- Preset J: Similar to preset K. Preset J might exhibit slightly less ghosting at the cost of extra flickering. Preset K is generally recommended over preset J

- Preset K: Default preset for DLAA/Performance/Balanced/Quality modes that is transformer based. Best image quality preset.

It's already in DLSS Swapper as well.  Thank you for the heads up @vbazillio

I had to reinstall it first before it showed up (I think mine was probably out of date though).

Why use swapper? Can't just copy and paste DLSS files into the microsoft-flight-simulator.exe folder to replace the originals?

If you have other games, it makes it easier to swap than to go to all of the game files.

It's what I've always done, just copy it in.  Then again, after lots of scrutiny all the things that matter to me never improve with these revisions, so I stick with TAA.  When they solve the smearing characters on speed tapes and other I'll have another serious look.

"DLSS SDK 310.4.0 serves as the basis for functions such as DLSS Super Resolution и DLAA (Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing). The new release includes updates aimed at improving image quality, fixing artifact issues, including ghosts и blinking in dynamic scenes...... ."

Has anyone noticed that ghost and blurry noise has improved further since version 310.3?

I just did a flight in 2020 with 310.4.0 using DLSS/DLAA and the 577.00 driver.  The image quality appeared to be a little better, but I didn't really notice too much of a difference from 310.3.0.  My overall impression is it appears to be a pretty good DLSS update.

I generally feel that this version improves quality slightly at the expense of reducing performance slightly - There is not a huge difference with either.  I have been using DLAA but will have a look at whether DLSS Quality has changed later on.

This post has been moved to the hardware forum (maddening, isn't it), so don't expect much more comment or analysis from this point onwards.

Me too, didn't see any tangible improvement like in the transition from 310.2 to 310.3.

Has anyone noticed that high quality isn't working in DLSS with version 310.4.0?

We have Quality/Balance/Performance/Ultra Performance, but we're missing Ultra Quality.

I've changed everything necessary in the Nvidia Profile Inspector, but I can't get Ultra Quality to appear in the Flight Simulator DLSS settings.

However, with version 310.3.0, it works perfectly, and I get the custom Ultra Quality at 77%.

Any suggestions, or does v310.4.0 no longer allow you to customize the DLSS quality to a custom Ultra Quality value?

Regards.
