Yeah im just wondering if it was always like this though.

It could be me imagining things but I noticed a bit more turbulence and wobbling around in SU4 than before. That’s in the Fenix flying around the Midwest and west coast US.

  • They also improved night lighting

  • I was on a business trip the whole week and I just tried the beta today, God Lord, suddenly the A350 performance became so good to be true, like really really good. I wonder what magic Asobo did here,

  • Just did my first flight in the fenix, landed into fly tampas Sydney and didnt get any stutters through the entire flight, not on take off not in cruise not on landing.  This is the best its ever

Anyone else not able to run simlink in navigraph charts on latest beta?

Pretty sure mine is working. As in I see my plane in the navigraph apps

Thanks, sorted now.

Are 3rd party airplanes still borked?

I am hoping for another nice update next week.  Hopefully: -

1.  Better backwards compatibility with some of the 3rd party planes.
2.  Frame rate slider fixed.
3.  Regain the ability to adjust our hardware controls / Tobii head tracker again.
4.  Whatever else Asobo have nice to throw our way again.

This is all part of getting the beta into shape before release.

Another look at optimisations would be good.  Apparently they did vehicle traffic (roads) in one of the recent updates, but it still seems to go along the road in steps rather than smoothly.
Slowing it down a tad would make it look better / smoother as well.  I remember we had to hack a library file in FSX / P3D to get it to look right.  It seems the vehicle speeds and movement are imported directly from FSX.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I dropped back to SU3 because it's more stable and I missed my Boeings, but I'm really missing the performance improvements from SU4 lmao
