as an ex Brit - the Britania would be nice - but I still prefer the Viscount for a local legend

I was on the Viscount - that left Munich - just before the crash of the Friendship that killed so many of the Manchester United playersWe were on our way to Cyprus - and heard about the crash when we landed in Athens

A Viscount and a Friendship are also at Duxford

A terrible tragedy.  I believe the aircraft involved was actually an Airspeed Ambassador not a Friendship.

I would have loved to have flow on a Viscount before they left service but didn't get the opportunity.  Those big oval windows must have been great for those with a window seat.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

  • I'd love if they made the first commercial jet ever, even if it was something by Microsoft themselves: The DeHavilland Comet. Somehow i find it fascinating and eerie as well.   EDIT: I

  • I agree; the DC-8 is conspicuous by its absence, as is the VC-10. In fact, there is a stack of vintage jet airliners missing in MSFS.

  • Not exactly a jet - but the Viscount as one of the most succesful International aircraft - would be a winner

PMDG have effectively wasted their opportunity with the British Aerospace Jetstream 41. I doubt that we will ever see it again, but I am fairly certain that plenty of flight simmers would love to fly it in MSFS 2024.

More active devs of quality for this platform than any sim in my life, so I guess maybe I’m a little more hopeful than that. Who knows?

Also sounds like Razbam is coming back to market with the Metroliner, makes sense as the door is fully closed with ED/DCS
