That being said for the 2024 crowd it's a good buy for no more than the fact you have a fully rendered cabin with working entry/cargo doors.  Things like this make a sim model feel complete especially with the amazing WT gauges.  In 2020 it's a hard pass....👎😔

You'd pass on the most advanced bizjet for MSFS because of non opening doors and no cabin model?

Okay.

  • Worth it depends.  Is it expensive?  Can you afford it?  Regardless as an owner of the 2020 and 2024 Longitude I think I can unconditionally say it is a wonderful and technically competent plane.  If

  • I highly recommend it.  It's probably the second most (or tied for second) in depth bizjet for any simulator.   It's very automated and very glass haha... so if that's not your thing it's probabl

I tried it again this morning and could hardly breathe.  Surely the panel is not supposed to be that close. Maybe it is best for VR users. I don't fly this sort of aircraft very much anyway but I much, much prefer the C750.

Okay.

I've used the Longitude exclusively for private jet flights in 2020 since 2020 was released.  I actually hardly used the CJ4 until six months ago when I discovered some amazing MODS for it.  The Longitude got hangered after the CitationX was released so yes you are 'Correct'.  A none working HUD, lack of a cabin, and on opening doors ruins it for me after the FlightFX option.  I want all options in a model as if I'm experiencing the real world plan (all this adds so much in VR).  Whom ever on Asobo's side who had the bright idea to not fully realize the Longitude in the SIM was either in a rush to release of the base sim or not appreciative of how amazing the Longitude is and how well it would be received by the community. WT got it and updated it's avionics.  So until I switch to 2024 it's the CitationX for me (unless Asobo releases the 2024 version to 2020).😏

It was probably for performance reasons.

The Longitude in 2024 is amazing and probably the best biz jet on the market. The "professional" walkaround mode includes over 100 items, the visuals are fantastic, and it has a fully modeled cabin, etc.

Plus, it has the amazing WT avionics.

A clear winner.

I’m hoping by “Market” you are referring to just  MSFS 20 & 24.

For the C700 Longitude I have entered my credentials for Simbrief integration but I cannot locate the button for loading the flight plan.  Can someone tell me how this done.  I have checked the EFB but I don't see it here or in the MFD.

Thanks

not including a cabin.

It's the best business jet for MFS. It's not quite at the level of the CL650, but it's a good add-on if you like fairly automated aircraft.

Maybe initially but with all the aircraft we have now (fully rendered jetliners from front to tail) that reasoning (not directed at you but this could have been a thought of Asobo) doesn't hold water.  Asobo can totally bring the 2024 Longitude into 2020.🤔

I agree, however, after flying the likes of PMDG and Fenix, it's difficult to like the automation of other aircraft but it's fine.

But not in 2020 because it doesn't have the performance improvements used make those aircraft run better with full cabins.

Then how do you explain products like the Fenix A320 series, FlightFX Citation X, EJets, etc..😶

Those are third party projects that don't have to hit a mandated performance goal.
