1.2 GB - I don't understand why the changelog would only be this short:

 

RELEASE NOTES Sim Update 4 Beta - 1.6.22.0

 

If you are playing on PC, outdated packages in your community folder may have an unexpected impact on the title’s performance and behavior.

If you suffer from stability issues or long loading times, move your community package(s) to another folder before relaunching the title.

Just speculating, but probably because it has to download the entire EXE file, even if only a few things in it have changed?

Oh thank goodness, I can finally be a real-life simmer again. Thank goodness they were swift with that, I’ve no idea how I could’ve continued simming with such a game-breaking bug.

Actually that is nice cause I just downloaded a mod to fix it haha.

Yeah I know they've been fixing some of the aircraft - but I'd love read the full changelogs.  I suppose they'll have that when its RTM

Early impressions are positive. Performance is great, Fenix working fine. 

No major game breaking bugs so far, for me at least.  (you put in your own definition of game breaking please).

Yes the final release will have that long list. 

I am having something "off" in this latest beta build KPDX ILS 10R was way off in the AvroRJ. It was a good several hundred feet off the center line. Short hop from KSEA and noticed that....it was off center by a lot. Also, baro is off as well. Thought that was an issue for me in the last beta build as well. Though this could be a plane issue and not the beta build itself. Also noticing more artifacts in clouds, set to ultra or high.

Anyone else with an AVRO can help confirm?

I’ve had several ILS’s off to the left or right of the runway. It has been happening for several versions now, but seems to be getting worse. Just landed at a default airport and it put me completely to the right of the runway.

 

Edit: this happens even with default airplanes for me.

I'm getting sound lock up issues.

Sound locks up and gives continuous tone until reboot.

Strange issue. 

I only recently joined SU4 snd i have to say I’m gobsmacked at the improvements in performance.

As an example, CYYZ Toronto in 777 LR. W/ FSLTL traffic, photogrammetry, most items on Ultra, @ 2k - in SU3 about 60-65fps DLSS (30-33 real) to SU4 125-130fps (69-65fps)! Its not always double of course. I have 14900kf @ 6GHz 32Gb 6000 MHz RAM RTX 5070 ti graphics card.

I think things are really looking up. Just think at the beginning of the year I was on 2020 with my old PC; 11700k, 1080 ti getting 20fps in the same scenario!

Ok there is one thing that still bugs me in SU4 although not new. The lack of loading in of the destination airport even on landing. Blurry I can deal with, but mesh not loading and throwing the plane into an invisible canyon I can’t.

Of course it may be my horrific Internet connection (no improvements since 2013) but othered with proper Internet seem to be reporting similar issues. Anyone here experienced that. The airport I mention is Orbx KSEA. It is not streamed on my PC.
