For me is the snappy start menu.  I use to wait for 1 min or so.  Now when I enter it is already loaded.   Also performance and image quality.

Do you have dynamic settings enabled?  Otherwise if you don't try turning up your TLOD and OLOD.

Agreed.

I just loaded the A340 into Bogotá for a red-eye to Barcelona, and it’s a very cozy atmosphere.   Looks miles better than 2020, and I didn’t know that was possible.

Also, the 340 out of Bogotá, what a ride haha.

The setting that makes that go away is:  Off screen terrain Pre-Caching.  Set it to ultra unless you don't have the Vram to spare.  If you have 16gb or higher with sim settings on medium or high, you should be fine.  This will also help with stuttering during camera panning.

Used to work for me pre SU4. I have it on Ultra and see scenery morphing in front of me now in a way I never did before. There are threads on the official forums about pre-caching not working anymore.

hmm...  What is your TLOD at?  I didn't have any popping on my last flight but I think my TLOD is set at 100 or 150.

The top 5 topics in the Install, Performance and Graphics subforum speak volumes I think. Lots of similar posts are being merged into one -

Sorry, back to positive things 😁 Yes the free flight map menu is better. Smoother and less artifacts than before.
