the Orbx TrueEarth sceneries seem to be around 100gb per region. Sometimes more (eg, S. Spain is 176gb).

Thanks to Xplane it lets you download with slow internet , ORBX disconnects if you have slow internet , i dont need true earth ,,, ortho4xp with simheaven , openscenry and usforest looks just as good

Tony, you can not tease something like this without posting either your workflow (so others can obtain a similar result with orthos) or the scenery in the first place. ☝️

Spent a few weeks working somewhere around the spanish north coast a few years and found it surprisingly pleasant in terms of climate. Much, much better than the rest of the country.

Alright - i'm glad that works for you!

I literally couldn't get by without broadband internet (I work in IT from home), so a side benefit is great access speeds 🙂

One of my favorite areas to fly over (Colorado) isn't covered by Orbx TrueEarth, so I have ortho and the other stuff for that area. I can't agree with you at all that the standard combo looks just as good as TrueEarth. But it DOES look waaay better than Default 🙂 👍

Are symbolic links going to be the norm for the pro series or is this just for testing purposes?

I just tried it 20 seconds before writing this response post and it's working for me. 

(SOLVED) link is working for me now.

Strange, I can dl the Library but get ERROR 404 - PAGE NOT FOUND when I try to dl the X-World Pro.

Word of caution: The testing area of X-World Pro can be a massive framerate hog in places, producing aqlmost half of the FPS one would get with v3.0 in the same area.

There's only one for the library. I mean you might as well copy all the folders for which those links are created, but that'd be a huge waste of disk space.
