I agree. But it makes no sense why would i be able to run 400 LOD smoothly in 2020 and barely 100 on 2024 which is the new and improved sim. For example. This is simply lack of optimiztions. 5 minutes ago, St Mawgan said: Personally I will pass on the next beta unless I hear good things about the delayed rendering I still get from time to time with certain addons in certain places. BTW, the next beta supposed to address just that ! I9-11900K, 3080 12GB, 64gb, SSD's only, W11 PRO

I have to say, and trust me I am not making this up - for me it is exactly the opposite. There was no way I could run at 400 on 2020 but can do so easily on 2024. For the first eight months I had the same PC for 2024 as I had for 2020 and I was amazed how much I could get away with in 2024. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

January 30Jan 30 Hopefully a fix for the grid lines in the sky you can see when using DLSS and it’s cloudy. Eric

I don't recall the MSFS team saying they would fix the photogrammetry trees. I did a post on the PG palm trees about 2 weeks ago someone mentioned it on that post.

I am well placed to talk about that, because I was someone who had (in spades), just like St Mawgan and then a couple of days later, it resolved itself. I mean really resolved itself. I think it's the case that not everyone sees the issue, rather than everyone sees it but some of us are "alright with it". I have never once in 2020 nor 2024 seen anything in any cockpit that made me wish for a faster rendering. My alpha yoke has translation and panning assigned to the 4 main yoke buttons. I look all around the cockpit and it is stable as a rock. I can't remember even one time when it was not. Sure I have lots of other issues, like everyone else. But not that one. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.
January 31Jan 31 There could be a slight blur on a glass screen when panning the cockpit, but I have never seen any "popping". Never seen greater detail suddenly jump into view. I can see that sort of slow rendering (finer detail popping into view) in the distance scenery as the cloud presents new and finer scenery. But never inside the plane. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel.
