That looks good. Wonder how this works and what aspects it handles. Will wait for some reviews and it's a potential buy.

OK, it's tomorrow. Where is it?

Seems like the developer got a bit too excited and promised a date he could not meet.
Something unheard before 😁

Your right!!!!

However I like his enthusiasm that is very promising. It seems like he's already planning in a lot of improvements from the feature request already. Hopefully he will learn not to give out dates until it is ready for release.

You guys never heard of EST? 🙂

Joke aside, if some bugs are discovered in late beta stages, it's better to postpone it then watch simmers moan, which you already did. But on the other hand, I agree, no dates until you are completely sure it's ready for a release.,

When I was a software engineer, we had to be very careful about announcing releases because our customer planned their flight testing based on our release date. If we slipped, it was a major thing and the contract payout was affected. We went on (unpaid) overtime to make things work out. It didn't happen often after we learned to seal our lips until things looked ready enough.

I must add that it's quite strange how this dev is approaching this release.

Let's be real - this plugin looks like GSX for XP12, in other words revolutionary step comparing to some old payware and newer freeware solutions, with badly animated PAX, etc. If you have such a plugin ready for a release, considering that it has a huge chance to be a massive hit, you will certainly send it to few XP12 content creators for a preview, to get the best possible traction before the release.

But no, this dev decided to do the shortest video teaser, without any previews, any hype build up. I'm even surprised how I found out about the plugin, seeing the teaser thumbnail on my YouTube main page.

In short, big plugins need big advertisement, big previews, to collect big audience before the release. Small plugins are released just like this, short teaser video without any hype.

So, yes, you can say I'm pretty reserved about this. To me, it looks like the dev is trying to hide something.

It looks like an mildly updated alternative to Simple Ground Services to be honest - I hope it's worth 25 euro over a free plugin that seems to do 80% of the same job already, for that reason I will be watching before buying.

It appears that way for now but this addon has potential to be something more. Lets hope the developer gets the support he needs to continue to make it even better.
