To me it's not as rewarding doing short flights in a plane that primarily only does long flights.  I don't judge others for it, but doing real or historically real flights I find more satisfying.

There is also the element of weight. If you do a shorter flight in such a big aircraft you will not get the heavy feel on take off.

I'm a bit interested, but I got some questions:

1. Does it support higher simrates (4x or 8x)?

2. Does it have a Jump Ahead mode (such as the FSL buses and the QW787 for FSX and P3D)?

Yes (4x) and yes.

    Oh grow up.

  • Many people mention, how smooth the performance with the Aero A340 is. Even on big airports (main destinations for the 600). I guess the performance was one main reason, they don't use high res text

The guy in that video needs glasses. The difference is quite large in favour of the IniBuilds where texturing is concerned. I immediately noticed it when i loaded the A346, it feels "X-Plane-ish" whil

I load my planes with plenty of fuel at all times. I do not calculate required fuel just because I am having a short flight. That adds some weight. I also de rate the engines.

On the A340, that means you'll have to dump fuel though (which in itself can take quite a while) to avoid an overweight landing.

LFMO, release a Aircraft in 2026 without a Native version for FS2024 is a JOKE ...

What on earth are you on about? The 2024 version IS native.

I was away for some time and all good things happen while I was gone. A340-600 certainly looks promising but more keen to get Caravan instead, Even if I do buy A340 it will sit in my hanger idle as I don't do long hauls anyway. But it will be interesting to see what people think about this - Toliss certainly have a reputation when it comes system simulation. I'd expect this A340 to be far superior even better then inibuilds A340 in terms of systems simulation.

This is a misconception. Just because you have a long haul airplane it doesnt mean that you have to use it as such. Also isnt unrealistic to use it in short routes. I have seen 777-300 from American being flown in troutes as short as Miami to north carolina. The same thing happens in Japan where you can see 747 flying in domestic routes.

There's als a VIP A340. You're a rich guy. You can fly your A340 on routes as short or as long as you want.

The way I see it is that a plane like this gives me the flexibility to fly a short route (If the airports can handle it) or a really big one too if I want.

There is a native version

I just completed my first flight. My thoughts:

Pros:
- Systems: Absolutely fantastic. I dare say this addon possibly has the most advanced systems of a commercial airliner in MSFS at the moment, with a level of realism above PMDG and Fenix.

- Flight modeling: Also exceptional. You can notice the inertia and weight of the aircraft flying manually, being the total opposite of iniBuilds airliners that handle like a balloon. Fly-by-wire systems seem identical to the real aircraft, with all flight envelope protections working perfectly and accurately compared to a modern Airbus aircraft.

What could be improved:
- 3D Modeling and textures: Not great, not terrible. There are some inconsistencies regarding the animations of the slats and flaps. It's definitely not Fenix/iniBuilds level, but it's also nowhere near "FSX-level'' garbage like some "kids" are complaining about, because they think anything below Fenix quality is word not allowed. For the price it could be better, but it won't hurt your eyes, unless you're a rivet counter.

Other things I noticed:

Taxi cam: It's not a camera, but a low-resolution satellite image of your current location. Because of the low resolution, you can barely see the taxi lines. In other words, it's just a visual gimmick with zero utility.

Performance is very good. I had no issues on my flight. Everything went smoothly without hiccups. I liked that, in addition to being compatible with sim rate up to 4x, it also has the option to jump to the next waypoint.

I also found it very interesting that it has a built-in replay system, although I would prefer to use my external replay tools, which for some reason are not compatible with the A346, with the aircraft flying erratically on playback. Only the built-in replay works, but at least, it works very well.

Bought it, but unfortunately can’t really try it out until the weekend. I’m such a sucker for another jet.

I heard different and thats a reason I will def not get it now (beside that I've flown the Toliss 346 in XP a lot so no urgent itch to get it). If you own it can you please check where the wasm files reside for the 346? Afaik even on official feedback on AS discord they reside within the wasm2020 folder and that shows clearly its just a compatible plane but not native. Just jump to "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\WASM\" and check please...

Well then it is indeed just a compatible aircraft. The WASM files are in the 2020 folder.  I would not have thought that a 2020 Aircraft with such an extensive cabin could perform this well in 2024, considering that 2020 Aircraft don't have the same LOD levels.

In the end it really doesn't matter a lot if its only compatible or native as Toliss is doing the essential stuff outside of the sim anyway (so the benefit of newer flight/ground model related physics is neglectable) and it usually just shows that its a long running project started way back in 2020 times. This way they can still feed both worlds and most will be happy...

Happy flying!

Is NOT native version, is only compatible version. Check Manifest.JSON, and folder scructure and texture format.

Is not true Tolis run in WASM like PMDG, is not like Fenix or FSLAB run in external software
