Is anyone noticing EFB preferences not saving? It is resetting each flight for me, including having to re-enter my Simbrief ID. Wondering if it is some permissions thing (My FS2024 is installed to the default MS store install path).

I have not had that happen @JaneRachel. I did have to enter a new authorisation code as per an email from Aerosoft but apart from that everything in the EFB is working as expected.

    Oh grow up.

  • Many people mention, how smooth the performance with the Aero A340 is. Even on big airports (main destinations for the 600). I guess the performance was one main reason, they don't use high res text

The guy in that video needs glasses. The difference is quite large in favour of the IniBuilds where texturing is concerned. I immediately noticed it when i loaded the A346, it feels "X-Plane-ish" whil

I'm having installation problems using the app Aerosoft One.  The aircraft installs to FS20, but not FS24.

In the app settings, I have ensured that I am pointing to the FS24 folder which contains the Community folder, not the Community folder itself, and I have ensured my Windows User name is the correct one.

Has anyone else had similar issues ?

Just noticed this community video streaming, live now, with an autoland and then a manual landing, under some considerable wind...

The realism of the landings is well executed; however, the flight model is undermined by unconvincing control surface animation. The rudder, in particular, appears frozen despite the strong crosswind, and the wing flex effects are noticeably exaggerated. While the core flight and landing dynamics are solid, the visual presentation falls short of the same standard. I look forward to seeing how this develops in the coming months.

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

Paul,

Be sure when you are in the Library page that you select MSFS 2024 in the left column.  It defaults to MSFS if you don't.  At least that is what worked for me.  Good Luck!

Does anyone know if there's documentation for the simvars and custom commands that this addon uses? I have some hardware that I'd like to set up with MobiFlight.

I thought the wingflex elements could be adjusted with a slider?

Also, no-one has mentioned anything about sounds yet.  Are they convincing?

That's the thing about sounds. Everybody seems to have their own idea of convincing. Simmers often look for something unrealistic that a pilot wouldn't hear in the flightdeck. Personally I like the sounds but I use the integrated noise cancelling headphones as soon as I start the engines. So I'm not hearing much of the sounds.

sounds are huge for me.  They help reconnect my sense of immersion since a computer sim lacks motion and other tactile feeling.

That was exactly the problem. Thank you very much for your help - much appreciated! 🙂

Not so much interested in exaggerated engine sounds from the flightdeck.  More specifically  want to know how well the  the sound files have been blended and spliced together through the thrust range

As @micstatic mentioned, this element is also hugely immersive for me and a badly engineered sound set is easily a reason for me to leave something parked

Hi Bill, this is Bill (you),

Who are you kidding?   Of course you'll buy it!   You buy every complex release for MSFS, it's part of being a compulsive flight sim addict!   You'll hum-and-hah about it for a while, then just buy it.

I'll bet my last nickel that you'll own it within 2 weeks!

We'll see.

I'm not convinced.
