Quite the opposite. I'm too old to tolerate having to let my sim run in real time through the night. I used to do that in the olden days, before I had to foot the elctrical bill myself. 😉

Makes it possible to get to the landing in less than in hour of sim time. I would be able to do more if I used the situation save function and simply saved a final approach for practice reasons.

 

Complaining about a complicated EFB just tells me that you expect add ons to be so intuitive these days that reading a manual is not necessary and didn't read it.

Because if you had, you'd know how to unpause and how to find all the settings and how everything works.

 

So instead of calling an add-on terrible, maybe you should do your homework first learn how to use it with the help of the manual.

You're not reading my remarks carefully.  I didn't say the EFB DIDN'T work.  I said it's not intuitive.  Click spots are too small in spots and EFB can be sluggish.  

I cannot access the manual (for the moment).  According to Aerosoft, it's located on Aerosoft One app but I purchased from Contrail.  Aerosoft One will not accept the S/N that Contrail issued.  That's a support ticket I opened...another frustration.  

I shouldn't be frustrated that I can't get pause at TOD to work correctly because you use 4x acceleration?  So if that's the case, what's the point of buying a 13 hourish long haul airplane if you're going to accelerate 4x?  Point being, you use your sim to your needs/situation, I use mine to my needs/situation.  I need/prefer pause at TOD.

Regarding other responses @JYW, I did (try) to reset the OFP in the EFB.  It's when I re-loaded that it was pulling an old one.  I unloaded the old one only for it to reload the old one again.  Had to restart the sim.

I can zoom and I can unzoom.  So zooming works BUT sometimes it just get's stuck.  I have to change views to get it unstuck to go back to "normal" eye view.  

 

 

 

 

What? The EFB is not intuitive? To me the EFB is exactly one of the best points of the addon. Really advanced.

You mean you don't even know how to look for a simple pdf file that is stored on your computer, but have the gall to call an add-on terrible?

Go to the file explorer and search for "Manual_AirbusA340-600Pro_web". Preferably do it right in your Aerosoft One library if you have chosen to install the aircraft in there. If not it will be in your community folder directly in the same folder where the aircraft is.

I made a fresh install for version 1.0.1 and indeed they forgot/removed the pdf in the aircraft folder, with this package.

I just updated my 1.0 version instead of doing a fresh install and it is still there.

Wow.  Thank you very much!  I had no idea.  I thought media was for announcements.  I've looked in all the airplane folders, Aerosoft app., the support page.

I installed your light mod for this aircraft yesterday.  You've done a great job 👍

A vast improvement over the stock lighting that comes with the aircraft!
