FSLABS A321NEO CTD

I don't have this issue with any other addon🤷‍♂️. The last time I flew it was February 25th. And it worked fine. Since then, the only thing I've added was scenery and the inibuilds A350. Sim settings were not touched.

I wonder if it's something to do with the libcef.dll file, as it shows up in the event viewer. If I remove it from this folder:

C:\FlightSimLabs2024\fsl-common\fslabs\cef_binary/release

I can actually load the plane successfully. But the EFB doesn't work. I'm guessing that file is required in order for it to work.

have you sent a support ticket in at all is the only  way to solve  what causing it on your pc or post it on the fsl forum where you will get better suggestions

  • I flew it yesterday and had no problems. Everyone's system is different though. I'd send a report to FS Labs.

I fly it regularly with most of the WinWingsims hardware and I have not had any issues, either with the NEO or CEO A321.  FSL had an update a few days ago......

Factory reset = Your system was the problem!

Try deleting the EFB cache

     Exit the sim
     Browse to %APPDATA%\FlightSimLabs\EFB
Delete the contents of the ‘cache’ folder

Do you use Navigraph? Is it up to date?

It's VRAM hog even with the most recent updates. I'm not going to decrease TLOD/OLOD to 50/100 as suggested, when I can fly easily with 90-140/250-400 in a most complex sceneries with 100% PSXT Traffic and FENIX and PMDG.

I understand that some folks prefer vanilla sim, and that's ok. It's just not my pattern of simming.

Navgraph is up to date. Also deleted the cash. But the issue still persists

Why would you decrease anything?

So right as I load the aircraft, the sim crashes. This is the second time I have encountered this problem. Last time this happened, a factory reset of my P.C was the only way to fix it.

Now it's back again, and I DO NOT want to repeat that process again.

This is what I got from event viewer:

Faulting application name: Flight Simulator2024.exe, version: 1.6.34.0, time stamp: 0x00000000

Faulting module name: libcef.dll, version: 109.1.16.0, time stamp: 0x6368965c

Exception code: 0x80000003

Faulting application start time: 0x1DCB19F023E5FAB

Faulting package full name: Microsoft.Limitless_1.6.34.0 x64_8wekyb3d8bbwe

Faulting package-relative application ID: App

Has anyone else experienced this issue before? And how can I fix this?

In my experience this exception code (it's a memory access thing) can happen if you're running out of VRAM and normal RAM is being used. This in itself is not a problem, but if it's really a huge amount of RAM, these errors can occur more often. How much VRAM do you have? And do you use the cabin in the FSL A321neo?

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

I have 64gb of ram plus a 5090. What I don't understand is that it used to run perfectly fine, then all of a sudden this problem started to happen.

Well there goes my theory I guess 😄

Try uninstalling Navigraph (for the A321) and maybe delete the data folders in your Windows user profile (if they're left behind)

Do you use GSX?

Your CTD seems to be EFB related, so try to eliminate anything that is linked to it...

I can try that tonight. And I do use GSX.

For now I'm just waiting on a response from the ticket I sent

Check anti virus might be something going on in the background.
