GSX v.3.8.9 out

Featured Replies

Changelog source on Discord:

GSX (all versions) NEW: Completely rewritten Walker system, which can now follow Vehicles at programmed distances instead of performing a separate path. This will solve the issue of Pushback walkers possibly clashing with airplane or tug parts.

GSX (all versions) Fix: Better check for the Pushback end position vs departure gate, to ensure the operator will always perform the final bypass pin/salute on the inner side of the airplane.

GSX (all versions) Fix: Many fixes in all editors (2D, 3D and Parking dialog) related to MARS properties.

GSX Pro Change: Night lighting added to Aviramp.

GSX Pro Fix: PMDG FANS 2B CDU not detected if the airframe had no option saved from the CDU.

Anyone know why the GSX voice is disabled?  In the settings, it shows audio on but no audio...just text.

Thanks again Umberto ... speaking of push back ... does anyone know how to make GSX work with PMDG 737 in MSFS 2024?  I tried and got to the point where it says use PMDG to Start message, so I went to FS Actions and hit START but nothing happened, GSX message box stays active.

1.  What mode does PMDG Pushback need to be in in order for GSX to work?

2.  PMDG (without GSX) pushback works but I don't see an TUG even when selected?

Any tips are welcome.

Nothing. It works just like any other aircraft.

Interesting, PMDG is the only aircraft where I can’t get it to work.

Yeah it's been happening last couple of updates.  Where is the sound mixer?  You mean within GSX?

Edit:  got it working.  Thanks.

Yeah that was quick … seems to be working fine … was able to resolve my PMDG issue where air-stairs were buried away several pages into the FMC.  Now just trying to figure out how to not have the cones around the engine area … not really sure of the purpose for these since engine startup is during pushback?

Anyone else notice that the cabin doors are not opening with Fenix initiating boarding?  This started with the last two GSX revisions.  Is that something Fenix has to fix?
