April 5Apr 5 If it freezes, just go into SimApp Pro and press the "Restore Default Configuration" Button. And next time please don't ask hardware related questions outside of the hardware forum.

April 5Apr 5 Never the less, the thing should work and not freeze. They've known about it for long enough. It did the same to me using a Mobiflight profile so it is an iniBuilds issue. David Porrett

Not with SimappPro ( yet ) and not with Mobiflight and this is a Aerosoft API problem what should be fixed soon. There discord says the fix is already send to all the Hardware Developer so hopefully it takes not to long anymore.. cheers 😉 08.2024 new PC is online : ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI Mainboard, AMD Ryzen™ 9 7950X3D Prozessor, G.Skill DIMM 64 GB DDR5-6000 (2x 32 GB) Dual-Kit, MSI GeForce RTX 4090 VENTUS 3X E 24G OC Grafikkarte, 2x WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 4 TB - Drive C+D, WD Gold Enterprise Class 12 TB for storage HDD, Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1000W PC - Power supply, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO CPU Aircooler with 7 Heatpipes, Design Meshify 2 White TG Clear Tint Tower-Case, 3x 4K monitors 2x32 Samsung 1x27 LG 3840x2160, Windows11 Prof. 23H2 - now Windows11 Prof. 25H2 Flightsimulator Hardware: Honeycomb Throttle Bravo, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, Logitech Flight Joke System, XBox Controller, some Thrustmaster stuff, Winwing CDU Panels.
April 5Apr 5 My only issue with the WNCTRL products I have is that the lights always come on full bright on the FCU and the EFIS panels when I start SimAppPro. I've tried different settings, but it keeps happening. It's not really a big deal though, I just turn them down before I fly. The lights also come on sometimes when SimAppPro or the sim aren't even running. It has to something I'm doing wrong since I haven't seen any other posts on the matter. Lights typically all come on when you've completely disconnected the USB device for a while and then reconnect. Highly recommend you run WinCTRL units thru a good reliable powered hub and then run just the one port to USB-C on your motherboard. Also be sure to run the WinCTRL unit(s) that require a dedicated Power ONLY USB connection that goes to a dedicate power only USB hub (like a charging hub) and NOT to your PC. Powered USB data hub with port switches here. Power ONLY USB ports here. There are other potential factors also based on motherboard/chipset type and UEFI/BIOS settings for CSM (legacy compatibility but really shouldn't need to do that for these devices as they aren't bootable). Check for any chipset updates and/or BIOS updates to your MB. Also check the USB-C port types via motherboard manual, they are often not all the same type of USB-C port. Although WinCTRL say run their hardware direct to USB-C ports on the motherboard when doing firmware updates, but so far I've found that not necessary with my current setup. Not to mention if you have a lot of WinCTRL devices it would be impossible to run them all to a motherboard direct as most motherboards don't have a lot of USB-C ports. EDIT: also check your USB power profile in Windows 11 and make sure suspend is disabled Edited April 5Apr 5 by SayAgain Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. - Carl Sagan
April 6Apr 6 Also you can let Gemini or simular make a .bat file for checking and repair any Windows USB "Allow USB power saving" . I always find it needy after a Windows update or replacement for hardware planetype connections Michael Moe Michael Moe
