April 5Apr 5 Is there any reason why photogrammetry should cause my rig to stutter on some days and not on others? Even getting GPU usage warnings. Flying Paris to Copenhagen. Smooth take off, stutter fest coming into Copenhagen, but fine once I turned it off. Have never had problems with it previously
April 5Apr 5 Isn't PG streamed in its entirety? If that is the case, then maybe server overload at the Microsoft end could influence how quickly the data is uploaded to your PC? April 6Apr 6 I never turn off my photogrammetry, it works for me 95% of the time and the other times I Chark it up to Asobo servers. I love the nice crisp ground textures I get with it on. Whether I'm flying high or flying low level. April 6Apr 6 Either slow MS servers or your ISP is giving you slower speeds during peak hours of useage I suspect. Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
April 7Apr 7 Too many addons and slow internet connection with possible throttle at peak hours = stutters.

Around my home area, Denver CO, for many weeks PG on causes bad stutters so would disable PG before launching flights and all was normalized. Today flew in from KTEX to KBJC near Denver which is an area that was subject to this PG related stuttering and all was great w/ PG back on and wow, unbelievably crisp textures just photo-real it's the best I've seen in any FS for decades and super smooth--in fact hard to see how it could be improved! The question is WHY? Not enough bandwidth somewhere in between your PC and the MS server? And nothing you can do about that. For me the problem is that it's simply not reliable "all the time". I fly around here frequently and this is the first time I've had any issues though it did last for a few weeks. What I have not done is start a new flight out of the region to see if it's truly back to normal. For me it's absolutely remarkable it all works as well as it does 99.9% of the time.
