May 5May 5 I enjoyed flying the single engined variant of the 2020 version. I am interested to check out this new version later but have the other AAu4 aircraft been released as well? I also wonder why they gave away the F7? Perhaps they want to give new players a taste of a historical aircraft.

May 7May 7 I did consider buying this at some point in the past, so I'm glad I waited - it wouldn't have been worth the money. A nice freebie though, even if only for one flight and then my virtual boneyard. Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org

Of course, the pack came with the single engine version as well which was a bit of a different challenge. It has been hinted at that the whole pack will be updated for 24 soon (I suppose this is the start of it). I always find watching a few YouTube videos helps to pique your interest and make you want to give them a go. The one where they were climbing out onto the wing to top up the oil in flight was pure class An amazing story. Edited May 7May 7 by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's. Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Hi Rob, I think the single-engined one comes with the freebie - I haven't had a close look, but I think I saw it while scrolling through the aircraft library. I do find interwar aviation fascinating - I'm currently reading 'Highways To The Empire' by Colin Cruddas. 'Britain's Imperial Air Routes' by Robin Higham and Alex Henshaw's 'Flight Of The Mew Gull' are sitting on the shelf, so this Fokker should be grabbing me more than it is. Thanks for the info about a possible FS24 update - maybe it will appeal more after that. Which reminds me - I really should drag Tukan Flightsim's Ford Trimotor into FS24, and see how it behaves. Isn't flight simming fun ?? 😃 Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org

Highways To The Empire is about £33 used on Amazon and even £30 on eBay! I might see if I can pick up a used copy from some of the other online bookshops as that one would definitely interest me.
