As I cameback from my last deployment to Viet Nam, 1971, They were switching from EAK-3b Skywarriors to the thennew EA-6b Prowlers. Blue Angels are 18 inches apart.I don't think they were supposed to be very close but one of the jets lost sight of the other. Failed to stay on the same geometric plane according to the former RAF instructor.
