I pressed the HALO button last night. I was 30 miles from Mammath-Yosemite and the plane correctly headed back there. It descended and went onto final approach (all looking good) then it started doing a never-ending hold 10 miles from the airport.

I believe it was doing this because speed was too high (200kts at 2000 AGL!). I've noticed that the AT cannot fully 'take over' the throttles and that the user's throttle position seems to interfere with it. With AT on, if you move your throttle axis, it moves the throttle in the cockpit and upsets the AT, but doesn't disconnect it.

In short the AT is borked at present, as per my observations.

The failed HALO autoland may also have been due to a HOLD as part of the target airport's procedure. But the real HALO system would disregard any holds.

Compared to the FFX 2024 default Visionjet autoland capability, the M600 was pretty disappointing.

There is no EFB ..............

There are a few option for the M600 in the default 2024 EFB. That's it. There is no FSR EFB with all the realism options.

This is a really basic addon in terms of ancillary features.

Well, this is highly disappointing. I never picked up the 500 due to the FSR branding (a minor thing since I know it can be addressed by community mods) and the lack of the standby AI. I had high hopes that the 600 would be an exciting, and better, alternative. Sounds like no, and with no direct support from FSR itself? Yikes.

This is with texture resolution set to HIGH in MSFS2024. (Note that the decals textures are fine. But take a look at the stripes on this default livery 🫢)

I don't use MSFS dynamic mode, nor AutoFPS, so nothing is 'pulling' the quality down here. In these pics I had 39.9 FPS (locked to 40) with frame gen giving an effective 79 FPS.

I was expecting an upgrade to the M500 which I generally enjoy. In all honesty it's a huge downgrade and I'd say that unless you really need a few extra knots, this purchase is not worth it, if you have the M500. For the £23 I paid for this in it's current form, I'd rate it 2 stars.

It's a downgrade to the M500 in terms of textures, functions, immersion and bugs. It's an upgrade in sounds.

But above shows clearly there's no issue with resolution in general.
Must be some individual hickup

There are other pics on the internet with textures looking like mine. And there's no way I can manipulate the rendered image to have nice crisp decals but appalling base textures. It looks to be a LOD issue, rather than substantively low resolution textures. But what is going on?

There are issues like this in the interior of the FSR Sirius too (in the AP panel) that I reported to Torsen.

EDIT: just tested at my end with texture resolution set to Ultra :- (Looks better but click on the pic to see that close up, the livery resolution is still very low)

That is just awful! Graphics that poor in a 2026 product is well below my buy/no-buy line. Add in bugs which may be addressed eventually, but may not given the support structure? Hard pass and as noted above VERY disappointing.

What resolution are you running the sim on?

I'm only on 1080p but still, have never seen textures look as poor as this.

What I mean with it is, that not the addon in general is that bad. There's some hickup, yes, but it's not that FSR has released something like that.

If you want to dismiss some users seeing texture resolution that looks as bad as this as "a drama", just because it's crisp on your screen, then that's your call.

I am streaming on a 8Gb connection and everything else in the sim is crisp.

Again, if you want to dismiss it that I just have some low setting somewhere, then everything else in the sim is crisp.

The problem is with LODs, that's clear to see. But it is a problem. This won't get solved by FSR if people deny the issue, as part of a 'FSR is God' narrative 🙂 It's a v1 release and problems are to be expected. But there's definitely something going on with LODs with this addon.

Just absorbing information for a potential buying decision on an add-on I'm interested in. When experienced users who's opinions I generally value see issues, I have concerns. I also have concerns about not having support directly from FSR.

That's not drama, it's absorbing information and discussing it.

Your input is appreciated and considered as well, of course.

I refer to guys which stating because of your screenshots that this product have been released with this bad textures in 2026 and that they would have expected better internal textures in general.

That is plain wrong because this addon was obvisously created with better textures.

I can see that there's sth wrong on your side, if its your systems fault or some bug from the addon I can't say.

But of course this addon is not created in general with such bad textures as you and others say here.

If you couldn't properly understand what I mean I' sorry, it's maybe because I'm no native speaker.
But try to understand what I want to say and don't call me a word not allowed. That's rude and not true.
I just want to avoid that wrong statements start to spread ...
(however that's nearly impossible to avoid at AVSIM, I know)
