I was just thinking that if this was a streaming issue, then if I kept my camera static in front on the exterior model, at some point the full LOD would load and it would be crisp.

Streaming issues cause delays in rendering, not all-out low resolutions. But I've kept the camera static for 15 mins and it still looks as per my pics.

@guenseli - I know and accept that not everyone is seeing these LOD issues. My GPU is only a RTX 3080 and I sim in 1080p. But the measuring stick here is against other addons that I use. I don't see resolutions like this with any other addons. It's that comparability that highlights a problem.

I will predict (hope) that FSR will find an issue with the LODs and release an early update. I just hope the 'MS machine' and the fact that this is a 2nd party release doesn't get in the way of any updates and fixes.

Yes. That just shows me that the LOD issue is not happening for you.

I asked earlier in the thread but perhaps you didn't see it..... what GPU do you use and what resolution is your screen using?

We should perhaps try not to fall into the phenomena on here, where this happens:-

User 1: "I have a problem. Here is the evidence"
User 2: "I don't have that problem. So it doesn't exist"

To say the M600 has a much lower quality in general is simply not true. And that is why I try to show my side of the experience.

I have now said several times: I understood and see that you have a problem.
But it is not how the M600 is created in general.

I hope for you that you get it solved somehow ...

Are you sure you're using the Marketplace version and not a beta version? The Marketplace version definitely has 2K textures, which result in blurry exterior textures. I have no doubt that the M600 was developed with 4K textures. However, they were apparently reduced in size to save VRAM. The same thing happened with the Phenom shortly after its release.

I took it for a quick flight around the Chicago Midway area and it performed very well for me. I didn't notice any bugs or blurry textures. I was able to land it without any issues. I will try again later I think folks are not giving this plane a fair assessment, just going on hearsay.

Same as you with NAV mode not being shown, AT indicates being on but doesn't show target speeds, AP in general connecting and disconnecting, buttons on right MFD not working at all, issues with trim not responding or not holding, unable to bind the condition levers. Those come to mind in my two short flights before I disabled it.

You can rent it for the price of a cup of coffee. Like I said earlier, I would really recommend that first if you are interested in it, rather than diving in and buying it outright.

In short the AT is borked at present, as per my observations.

This is not automatically a bug. There are many IRL AT systems that work like this that this may be simulating (we do a similar thing with the Longitude AT).

In many ATs of this class, the AT servos are on friction clutches which are actually designed to slip. IRL the pilot can push against the AT to make a quick adjustment of the throttle if needed and the clutches just slip intentionally. When the pilot has removed pressure, the AT returns to the previous commanded position. This does not automatically disconnect the AT.

I like it a lot. Sounds, flight model seem solid. The model and textures are quite nice externally. Speculation on my part - they reduced the interior texture a little - the cockpit is great but the surrounds are a little lower res - they had to do the same on the Phenom to better support console users. I had a few minor issues with AP modes not showing on the FMA. I'm not certain if that's normal (because when you push an AP mode a small white rectangle illuminates - but some buttons don't do that). Like NAV button - NAV works just fine! But I cannot tell if I'm in NAV mode because no rectangle illuminates.

Did anyone notice they added a sweet new Garmin GI-275 as the (correct) standby AI? It's not 100% functional but it looks great!

It comes with a lot of nice liveries. Supports dynamic registration. I'd LOVE to make some paints though. I actually asked Jorg at the Expo about this. HOPEFULLY we can make it work.

I think it's a beautiful little turboprop!

You know, a few weeks ago I was walking around midtown Toronto and came across a coffee shop - Denovia Café- that had a menu of coffees in the US15 to $25 range and one with a rare blend from Panama that would cost you US$70! I could not help but think about PMDG!
