I watched some of the games, and I feel that hydration break is overkill. I only saw it justified in the Brazil WC, when they were playing in hot and humid weather, without killing momentum unless required.

I'm debating whether to stay up for Argentina v Algeria tonight.

It kicks off at 2 a.m. my time but it's always worth watching Argentina play football. Since I'm now a retired slob I just might.

I have a feeling Messi and co will carry off the world cup again.

It was a great game.

In many ways Senegal is effectively the French B team. A lot of Senegalise players would be eligible to play for France if they chose to and vice-versa.

Not only Senegal, but Algeria, Cameroon and several former French colonies. In fact, Algeria's goalkeeper is the son of Zidane (the former France captain). Zidane Sr. faces during the match were meme material.
