For whatever reason Just Flight messed up and does not allow to use the keyboard for nose wheel steering. It should be a pretty simple option at least in the EFB. The option is there but does not actually work!Checked the hydraulics and the control lock again just in case and it is all good!I can steer it taking my mouse and hovering it over he nose gear tiller but I can't see out the window at the same time making this worthless.Needs another hot fix addressing this. Will shelve it until this is fixed!Make sure you report it to them, as I suspect not many users use the keyboard for steering, hence they may not be aware. 23 hours ago23 hr I just found this posted at JF's website:https://support.justflight.com/support/solutions/articles/17000151979-fms-how-to-setup-the-fms-after-loading-a-flight-on-the-runway-I did a flight from KMOT to CYQR on the JF F100 with engines running at start and used the PROF mode for the autopilot to follow the VNAV and even it started to descend automatically at the TOD like it should. Only thing is that the aircraft icon on the map display appeared to be a few miles off to the side of the course line until I got to my approach then it was exactly on the course line. Is this because I have to enter the exact coordinates of where the aircraft is starting from and the one that is automatically on the FMS is not exact of where the aircraft or is it the exact coordinates automatically and that has nothing the reason the aircraft is a few miles to the left of the course line? You'd need to adjust it to be the exact point where you are.9 hours ago, SpeedPilot said:I did a flight from KMOT to CYQR on the JF F100 with engines running at start and used the PROF mode for the autopilot to follow the VNAV and even it started to descend automatically at the TOD like it should.Yes the FMS is essentially the same in the Airbus A300 and a precursor to EIS1 but if INIT B has not been populated before engine start then you essentially "complete" it on the FUEL PRED page, so the FMS has the necessary information to build a path.
11 hours ago11 hr Finally got around to buying this last night and did a quick hop EGNX-EGAA. Overall really enjoyed my first flight, the Fokker design makes flying it quite intuitive - even if I had to abort takeoff as I forgot to remove the control locks, my error! It’s a little bit of Boeing and a little bit of Airbus. Flight was all good other than the aforementioned slight off-tracking of the NAV path (at least on the MFD) and it seemed to hold my speed on final approach about 10 knots faster than what I had it set to.Overall another great JF retro airliner! 9 hours ago9 hr The PFD and ND displays seem very lo res compared to other aircraft in VR and difficult to read. No problem with RJ100 and PMDG 737 displays. Pimax Crystal OG rtx5090. Any thoughts?
9 hours ago9 hr I do also use the Pimax Crystal - and yes, some messages, although not many, are hard to read. But that's not Just Flight's fault. The original version simply had small fonts in their screens. And today's top technology with DLSS and Smart Smoothing etc. does not make things better. So I find myself sometimes leaning forward to read the messages that I do not recognize at first glance. Best regards, Holger

1 hour ago1 hr The aircraft is still about 1-2 miles offset to the left of the course until I get near my 1st approach waypoint. I did set the coordinates in the FMS manually under the INIT section instead of using the ones that were already there as well. It didn't make a difference. I entered the coordinates that were shown in the CIVA into the INIT page of the FMS. If I turn off PROF mode and do a manual heading towards the course line to go exactly on top of the course line and head the same direction of the course, when I go back to PROF mode the autopilot will take it to the offset to the left by 1-2 miles again. 3 minutes ago3 min Speedpilot, the same is happening with me. Glad it’s not just me. I think I will open a ticket to get some additional sunlight on this issue. Blue skies,-B
