Weird.I may have mentioned this in this thread earlier....but one time I visited Cali and it was about 95 degrees in Sacramento. I drove into San Fran and it was about 60 degrees...same day...not that far apart. It's pretty neat.Another time in Washington / Friday Harbor during summertime, I could stand near the water, and feel the coolness radiating off the cold water, meanwhile the air temperature ...away from the water....was about 75 degrees. Amazed me. If you're on the island running around and get hot, simply go to the water. No need to get in. You will cool off just standing near it. Natural A/C. Saturday at 05:38 AM5 days Using air conditioning sparingly should be a priority. I remember a Greyhound bus trip at night. I asked the driver to turn off the air conditioning because it was freezing cold. He just said that wasn't possible because the bus couldn't do that. Crazy.-
