Just watched a bit of this video and noticed the lack of any ground roll sounds. It seems E19 misses this feature on most of their soundsets (ie A-220). Not sure why major parts of the soundscape are being left out. Also, the thing I really did not like with the default sounds was the buzzy prop noise inside while in cruise. It seems like that is still present in this new soundpack. You really don't hear that sound outside of takeoff, it is mostly the drone of the turbine engine. I recall the SWS PC-12 implemented it really well...

Are you talking about outside or inside the plane, because I clearly hear ground roll sounds in these videos inside the cockpit.

But again, I'd stress not to make too much of what you hear in these. I was impressed with the startup sounds in the "Dreams of Wings" video and especially so because he did compare with default - and hopefully using the same techniques. In the "Avangel" video, however, I found it hard to tell much about the sounds at all due to the way the audio was mixed and the fact that she talked over many of the sounds. And, of course, even in the "Dreams of Wings" vid which I did find somewhat useful, he had to stop himself and re-do some things as he kept talking over the sounds and then catching himself.

From the inside...I didn't pick on them except for maybe some faint thuds but you usually will hear some spinup of the nosegear as you accelerate. Could just be the video, maybe they are there. Boris does this effect really well on all of his sounds...

As another member already noted, the ground-roll audio is present and well accounted for. It was intentionally balanced for this aircraft type rather than exaggerated simply to make it more noticeable in a video. These subtler layers can also be harder to distinguish through livestream and video compression, but they build naturally with speed during taxi and takeoff.

The interior propeller presence is intentional as well. We captured the real aircraft in flight at multiple power settings and altitudes, then worked closely with TBM pilots and experienced simulator-audio enthusiasts to validate the balance. The propeller does not suddenly disappear in cruise. Its tone and prominence change as power, airspeed, and altitude change.

You can hear that progression in the videos: the propeller is more dominant as the aircraft rolls forward and takes off, then transitions gently as the aircraft accelerates and climbs, allowing the turbine, airflow, and cabin layers to become more prominent. The PC-12 can be a useful comparison, but it is a different aircraft and was not our acoustic target for the TBM.

The A220 is a separate project, and we do have improvements in testing across several areas, but I’ll leave that there to keep this discussion focused on the TBM.

Since there is no implementation for MSFS 2020, not interested.

It is not right, especially since the aircraft was made for it in the first place,

Totally understand. We made the decision to focus this package exclusively on MSFS 2024 so we can put our development and support resources into delivering the best experience possible on the current platform.

Supporting both platforms would mean splitting those resources, and we’d rather do one version exceptionally well than two versions with compromises.

If you’re staying on MSFS 2020, I completely understand that this particular package won’t be for you.

If you purchase this software, be sure to review the installation program to ensure it installs to the correct location.

In my experience, it took a couple of attempts, and even now, some textures for the free paint jobs are missing. Perhaps I expected too much from a sound pack, but Boris's efforts have never disappointed.
