Just a guess... When you leave FSX the logitech app takes over ... make sure you don't have any conflicts with that.

I like it... something about not having system draw objects you can't see anyway just makes me happy.. I sure wish this had been created 3 years ago ...

I have most of this vendors other products, but not this one... Wouldn't this have been the Holy Grail if this product had came out 4 years ago ? I can't help but consider this program having a bigger affect on weaker powered systems with diminishing results as your pc specs go higher .. I am thinking this app will work best if you actually RTFM ( as we used to say in the Navy ) ... I will try the demo and I expect I will buy it if for no other reason then because it is easily shut down and that it doesn't muck about with my current settings and such ... ( save the obvious ones that have always changed when ever you change graphics settings in FSX )... I would rather read concerns from those who actually have the program than read through constant posts from those who can only condemn. Such posts detract from what really matters. If all you want to do is complain go get on one of the after noon talk shows...

I start with the default cessna and after FSX loads I move to my desired airport and starting location, then load my plane of the day... Some say this is the only way to run some vendors complex aircraft properly...

Unplug your usb devices.... then plug them back in... Your problem isn't with FSUIPC ...

+1 to RealAir support... you can't do better than perfect..

Select Go to airport , pick your starting airport... One of the drop-downs will have all the airport runways, gates and parking locations in it.. pick the one you want and then OK After you are positioned at your new location, then load the plan ... but don't select move to new location ....

Do you mean you can't tune your radio to a frequency with a 0 in it??? Nav radio is Nav radio and should have nothing to do with a particular aircraft.

There are settings in the fsupic.ini file that let you use names for usb devices so you don't have to worry about what port you put devices in to... as we used to say in the navy.. RTFM .. I would save a copy of your ini file, create a few simple settings for a previously working aircraft, then see what control the new fsuipc.ini file has for the new aircraft, then copy the relevant settings from the original .ini file to the new one.. Always keep a good copy of your fsuipc.ini file just for such an event.

I spent over 5 hours in the UH-60 simulator in Al ... and yes helo's are pretty stable until you transition to hover.. at that point all control inputs start affecting each other, mostly collective + rudder (tail rotor) .. a real hand full to master especially without physical feed back from the seat of your pants :-) .. My son can fly the real thing beautifully :-)

Ensure u don't have any nvidia inspector settings that the card can't handle ..

I believe FSUIPC recommends you remove the FSX assignments.. Have you tried setting the gain curves for your throttles ? I don't have saitek throttles, but you can really customize the settings with FUSIPC... The other options would be to set up ranges for the throttles, but I don't think that necessary... Also if you are windows 7 you shouldn't need any driver software... but I could be mistaken.

Installshield http://www.installshield.com/ is a software installation creator.. You might try to reinstall and then uninstall ... Or a restore point ...

So it looks like those of us who like the product have hope ... and those who have issues complain continually ....

I agree that the developer's face to the community is far below a professional level.. while their product and price structure are most certainly presented on a professional level. Unfortunately this disparity is causing a lot of negative bias in their customer base. If it walks like a duck and it quacks like a duck....

The forum over there is up and down a lot ... It reminds me of a start up company that has bitten off too much to chew .. I do like their product, even though it could use some updates..

I didn't get a negative vibe from that topic?? I have purchased every version of HiFi 's weather programs from day one... and O___ as well .. I like the ability to load historical weather ( although I have never used it ) ... funny how I see this one :-) I choose to support both vendors ... and I don't really see anything other than good business competition from either ... and both offer superb support ... I hope they both keep ' duking ' it out for years to come...

Yes but when you are looking for information on the forums, where that information may very well be in one of the ' meaningless ' topic titled messages, you are prone to miss the information you are searching for... RealAir Duke B60 v2 issue vs my plane has problems .... Just my 2 cents.... I know very bad choice of an actual plane, but since I like ANYTHING from RealAir I like to post their name when ever I can :-)

Read your event logs ... Look for NTFS or Disk errors... Read the application log looking for FSX errors... Trouble Shooting Computers is best done by a methodical analysis... In many cases what looks like the problem is merely a symptom of some other issue ...

When originally posting there did not seem any appropriate place to post.. The first line in Hangar Chat was indicative of a requirement to post aviation related topics so I mistakenly disreguarded the rest of the decription... MyBad !!!

Does it bother anyone else when topic tiles are completely meaningless? I can't help but feel I may be missing good information because I just don't feel like reading topics with meaningless topic titles. And worse yet is when I see the same topic weeks later and because the title is so vague I stupidly read it again....

I use PATCx with no real issues.. it does have bugs, but I can still use it and I like what it does.
