Well, in matter of fact I CAN use other presets but I don’t want because they all give me the brown horizons. I don’t know is it because of my system or simply because of me. I don’t see I do anything differently with other presets. The developer promised to search for this problem but I have not heard anything from that side after that.

I am still unable to use other presets than the one from Matt...

Thank you very much for your help! I appreciate it. I did all the steps above. And the result: now the horizons look good. I did this test with AS4 with different weathers and seasons. I didn´t uninstall my original PTA. So I have now two of them in my system. I hope that´s not a problem. Anyway, I´ll delete the other one quite shortly. That should be the original one, right?

I have done tests. The results are not good. Every time with the modified presets the horizon is brown and with the original P3D shaders everything is ok. The freeware PTA worked like a dream in P3D v3.4 but the new PTA 2.60 for O3D v4.1. looks like to be a waste of money for me. I am almost ready to ask for refund. Is that the only option?

Nope. Here is what I do have: P3D 4.1+ AS4 + ASCA + PTA 2.60 + ENVTEX.

I have tried: Adam´s 26.01 Thopat 2_2 AviationLads Gerrard´s latest All give the same result. I have tried in diffirent parts of world, in different seasons... Really frustrating. But, hey, thanks for trying to help me!

I have this very same problem with v4.1 and PTA 2.60 (fresh installs both). When I open any downloaded preset and push the Apply preset -button, the horizons in the P3D are brown. Then I shut the sim down, open the PTA, use the Restore original P3D shaders, apply it and fire up the sim. And - voilá - the horizons are as they should be. I have read these posts over and over again but haven´t found anything to help me. Any ideas? Anyone?

I have been in a installing process because I moved from P3D v3.4 to 4.1. Almost everything is okay now par the MyTraffic6. I have followed orders from here: I have installed MYT6 with it´s installer and created that add-on.xml. When I come to the part where it says: "Launch Prepar3D, You will see this message, Click Yes, MyTraffic 6 is now active" No, I don´t see any message like that. And when I go to Options- add- ons, there are other add ons but not MYT6! Add-on.xml is now in Documents > Prepar3D v4 Add-ons , MyTraffic in c:\MyTrafficProfessional and P3D in c:\Prepar3D v4. What I am missing here?

You might want to play with your settings in the sim. For example if your target frame rate is set to unlimited, you can try to lower it to 30, 35 or something like that. Unlimited frame rate gives perhanps better performance but can be a problem with the auto gen.

Thanks for your ideas! I´ll give them a try. For now my frames are set to unlimited, Scenery Complexity is Very Dense, Autogen Vegetation is set to Dense, Autogen Density to Normal, and VSync is on with Triple Buffering (what is this actually?). I´ll play a little with these and we´ll see if this makes difference. Keeping my fingers crossed...

I have not blurry textures but I am missing auto gen during the arrival. Everything is ok when I start my flight but when I descent for the arrival there are no auto gen trees or buildings unless I pause the flight and wait. I fly only with ORBX sceneries, Terraflora, ENVTEX, PTA and AS16 in my P3D 3.4. What is this all about and is there a solution. Of course I can pause my flight but it is not the best option.

I purchased ENVTEX. The sun is much better now. Not bright enought to be highly realistic but much better. Thanks.

I am not happy with the sun of the P3D. I tried to resize it and the result was a little better. But still the sun just don´t look realistic, it is like a pale disc in the sky. I installed the simple sun mod from the library but it didn´t make much difference. Any suggestions? How can I get a more realistic sun? (The bright and yellow like it should be!)
