That is almost like my story... I have gone the hard way with freeware everything. When I moved from FSX to P3D I also left all that tweaking behind and bought the MyTraffic. No more installing over over again! But I am not totally happy, the models in MT look just terrible and the schedules are not accurate. Does UT have GA and military traffic? Are the models and schedules ok? I am willing to pay if I get good AI-traffic without too much work.

As far as I know no up-to-date Embraer regional jet is available for P3D, perhaps some old port overs... I would like to have one myself!

I just bought it from PCAviator. It is not that bad, actually it is pretty good for that price. I am not a beginner (been around since FS4!) but do very little flying these days (and mostly in the bush). Some times I want to fly places more crowded than Alaska and for that this is quite a good tool. If only they had done some parts of the cockpit liitle better... Who knows, I might get that DA/AS CRJ when it is released. So far this is good enough for me. However, I needed that fix from above, so this seems to be without that update. Are the any other issues solved with the update?

Does that mean, you have to replace every single repaint of the MT with these? That is quite a job... About UTLive. Do you have to do the same job with it? Does it have GA and military traffic. I am pretty happy with MT in many ways but the models do look terrible!

Are those FSX .pln -files usable in P3D?

For FSX I have used (and loved) freeware version of the vRoute (for IFR flights) and Plan-G (for VFR flights) for flight planning. It looks like P3D is not able to read flight plans from the vRoute because of their format. What would be best add on for P3D flight planning? (Freeware, I hope). Or is there a way to make the tools I mentioned above to work with p3d? I am using default ATC and do not have any fancy add ons.

Well, it is freeware. Why don´t you give it a try! If you like old birds like DC3, it is a must. After that you will never fly with the default any more!

It can be also because of the corrupted terrain.cfg. If that is the case you need a new "clean" file to replace the corrupted one.

Can I just copy needed files from FSX to P3D or should I re-d/l them?

I have made up my mind and go for P3D. But what else should I update? Let´s start with the ai traffic. I have had all kind of freeware stuff for ai traffic in FSX (WoAI, MAIW etc). What about traffic in P3D? Will tehy work or would this be right time to go to payware? And which one of the payware Ai addons should I pick up? UT? MyT? I fly mainly (95%) of my flight time in Europe, Northern Africa, Caribbean, Mexico, Canada and USA.

I´ve had that issue a couple of times. Once it was a conflict with a scenery, if I can remember right, once it was a freeware scenery of Sweden. The only way I found out of there was to un-check active sceneries one by one and see how that would affect. Nowadays I am really suspicious about the freeware sceneries, best to stay with the ORBX and other reliable stuff... I remember having same kind of problem also because I had wrong order of the ORBX products in my scenery.cfg. I hope you find a solution.

I have no Fsw -airplanes in my hangar. I have spent money from another company and bought some nice looking products which - thanks to many bugs - are pretty much useless. Now I am thinking - for the first time - to look at the Flysimware. C402 or C441 are the ones in my mind, perhaps not Learjet (quite tempting though). IF I would purchase one of these, which one would be the best one. My preferences are: no bugs - quite fast to fly - not too bad visually - more realistuc than the default and free wares but no too complicated ( I like to start the engines with Ctrl+E and pretty easy to use autopilot and FSX default ATC & navigation are good enough for me). So, which way to go? To 402, 441, Learjet? Or should I look somewhere else?

Sad indeed. Of course health and family comes first, this hobby after them. Real Air was able to do what most vendors don´t. Duke is really good products with no hick-ups what so ever, reasonable priced and then friendly customer service! I wish I had bought Lancair Legacy!!

For K1fox: You might want to try the products from http://www.qualitywingssim.com/ . They have Avro RJ/ BAe146 and B757 where you can choose easy-to-fly Lite version or more complex within one in the same product. They have really done great job with different kind of preferences of the simmers. Their products are also give very good fps.

I have not been able to find AI-flight plans for the now ceased Roblex Aviation. There are repaints for ai-aicraft but perhaps no traffic.bgl file for them. Anyone?
