Aerosoft Twin Otter is on sale at Just Flight. They inform us: "50% OFF - ONLY £11.99 / €13.95 / $16.49 with Discount Code: OTTER" and that is valid "until midnight (UK time) on Sunday 19 October" Sadly this seems to be v1, not the Extended!
-
On the other hand, for some reason, I would give a try for a 19.95$ product but for 29.95 I want to know that it is good and to be sure I would use it regularly. I know, it´s on $10 but that´s the way it goes.
-
That´s the way it goes. Do you still remember this: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/447943-whatever-happened-to-realair/ There Rob Young of RealAir answered: "As the many registered customers who have emailed me this month and received extremely prompt replies will know, RealAIr Simulations is doing just fine, although I have this week taken a short holiday, and have supported our customers every day but not quite to the normal level of checking and replying to emails four times a day, everyday, including Christmas, Easter and other public holidays for the past twelve years." Custom service at it´s best! Well, I do believe that Carenado/Alabeo is reading all this and will give us answers in words or with their future releases.

Well this is a tricky one: RA Lancair Legacy or Aerosoft Katana...
-
There are many companies in business world who wanted to do something else that what is the back bone of their success. Usually that leads to trouble. Is that what C/A is doing right now. I have purchased many of their products but after B1900 I am not so sure if I do that in the future. BeaverDriver said it so well...

I was waiting for RA 172. Now I don´t know which way to go. I would like to have a new GA weapon in my hangar. For longer distance flights with twin I have Duke, then there is Manfred Jahn DC-3. But with smaller single engine airplanes I am little bored with Carenado A36 and Caravan, their C185 though is okay for bush flying. So there is a gap in my hangar and I don´t know what to put there. As earlier said I´m not willing to pay for the A2A maintenance options I am not willing to use... sigh
-
Sad news.
-
For me: DC-3 (Manfred Jahn) when I have a lot og cargo, C185 (Carenado) for real bush operations. I do have A2A Cub and Lionheart Kodiak but they apend much more time collectin dust inside my hangar than out on the skies. What I would love to have is a new Beaver as the one from Aerosoft is really outdated. Rumours say that they are working on a new one but I haven´t seen any words about that from Aerosoft. C206/207 (a good one) would be nice too.
-
I´m not going to "vote" for any of the projects being proposed on this discussion. I rather wait for the RA to give us an announcement in few days/weeks time, hopefully. They are the only ones who know how much they have already invested time in C172. If - lets say - 75% of the work is done, it would be a good idea to take to the end. But if C172 is only 25 % ready, that might be another story.
-
Me too. I am going to purchase if RA will produce any high wing Cessna.
-
Back to the original post. No news about RA? Are they working on C172? Perhaps not? Sad.
-
I feel quite the same. I didn´t buy A2A C172 for two reasons: - I wanted to see how the RA C172 would be - I don´t want to turn flight simulator to a maintenance simulator (with the limited time I spend simming) I wish RA would give us at least some information: are they still working on C172 and will it be published ( no need to know date, just the information if its going to be on the market some day).

Looking for some scenery to cover small Alska Airstrips
kiki replied to Garciamk3g's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
You may want to look at: http://return.mistymoorings.com/ And if you love to fly in Alaska, this is the one to have: http://fullterrain.com/product_napfj.html Are you aware of this site: http://www.freewarescenery.com/fsx/us.html Hope this helps. -
Unfortunately Carenado didn´t give us any decent tutorial with B1900. I really don´t know why... I have been a customer of Carenado but don´t know about that any more. Sadly.

Is the Paypal only method for payment?

The German Regional airports are on sale now. I might give a try to at least one of them, just to see if that would be the way to go. Frankfurt-Hahn, Saarbrucken, Bremen, Erfurt, Maastricht Aachen or Munster/Osnabruck might be the one. Many of you might have one or more of these airports. I don´t want to purchase if they are really hard on frames. In screenshots they all - of course - look good. But which of them are better when you look at the performance?
-
It might be great aiplane but I hate twin engines because it is almost impossible to enjoy those wonderful sceneries we can have these days... (That´s why I fly so little with wonderful RaelaAir Duke...)

I Come to Bury (Orbx England) Not to Praise it
kiki replied to Mithras's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
While we are talking about this scenery, I have a question to ask. I love PNW, SAK and Scotland by FTX. Ususally I fly in rural area. I liked it that way, but I also have to do so. Frame rates at Seattle are terribly low. And here comes my question. I would like to purchase England, but are the frame rates for example in Lodon area as low as they are in Seattle? -
You´re right. My mistake, sorry :(

I had time today to play around with FSX and took my forst look at the DAT livery I wanted so badly. Unfortunately there seems to be something wrong with it (in FSX): Here is virtual cockpit: And here is outside view: No such problems with other repaints ( as far as I have seen).
-
Got it, love it. Thank you! Nice livery, isn´t it.
-
I do have same problem as Jim. I do what the video tells to do. And when I am using the mouse wheel my trim goes up and down but the heading bug is not moving... I am able to center the bugs but not able to move them! I have SP2 Acceleration, no overclocking, os Windows Vista 64.

Looking good. Looking forward to fly that!!!
