Don't know exactly what you mean, but if you have a whole load of useless waypoints in the legs, line select the first one that isn't useless below the junk ones, then push the line select on the first junk one. Hi Tim!1) VOR/LOC establishes the aircraft on a radial of a VOR whether inbound or outbound. If you have the ILS frequency in use, VOR/LOC will intercept the localizer. VOR/LOC does not command pitch, and only deals with the horizontal plain. Another thing to mention is that you have to have the course set in the course window. Also, if you want to intercept a localizer or radial, you can be in heading mode and also press VOR/LOC, so both buttons are lighted on the MCP. What this will do is it will follow the heading that will intercept the localizer or radial, then when it gets closer, go into VOR/LOC mode completely and intercept it.2) You don't need to - you can control your heading via say LNAV, HDG or manual etc, though it generally makes interception of localizers and radials a lot easier.TCAS stands for Traffic Collision Avoidance System. The TCAS is Modelled in the 737-800/900 using the same standards as in real life. When turned on (download special tutorial off precisionmanuals.com download section if having trouble) you are able to see aircraft in conflict (and even aircraft that aren't if you set the option under the PMDG styles menu) on your PND, and eventually if you get too close to another aircraft it will aurally warn you ('TRAFFIC, TRAFFIC!!!') and even tell you how to avoid the potential collision ('CLIMB, CLIMB!!!' or 'DESCEND, DESCEND'), and markers on the PFD pitch bar and VSI will inform you at what rate you should do so.Hope this is all clear!Geoffrey Balean (YSCB) - no sig today, don't think i'm logged in yet :(

Don't worry guys. I changed my load configuration with VOZ virtual loadings, set the trim high up the green range (though FMC says 4.9) and it did pull off at Vr for the first time! Ended up being a very nice online flight! Nice work with the patches. After people started getting the engine failure problem, I created the pmdg 737 as the default flight, which I previously didn't do (swapped from ms default plane), but only since then do I get the Engine Failure every takeoff unless I load MS really quickly and pause the plane whilst dealing with other programs.Speaking of problems however, everytime I start MSFS, load the plane etc. I load SB Host and SBRelay, connect to them, but quite often I get an error after I start squawkbox and put in player name and server name. This causes Flight Sim to hang, and I have to restart. This happens every time I try to fly online until I restart :| It ends up being a very time consuming process, especially when an engine failure is then thrown in for fun when flying online. How about the possible prob where you can't rotate at Vr, even with full to/ga thrust etc? Can only rotate at about 180 or so. The engine failure has happened to me 3 times now, twice in the last 2 days. With both of these last two times, I left the aircraft (default flight, no swapping) sitting on the ground unpaused while I got various details about my flight etc off the internet and on the computer. Hi Rumbo! A friendly welcome! :)In the aircraft menu in Flight Simulator, you first select the aircraft manufacturer - Boeing PMDG. The next drop down allows you to select your aircraft type like 737-800 2D only. Finally you select your livery and winglet options in the last dropdown. If the company your livery comes from has winglet versions, it will say for eg. Virgin Blue w/ Winglets. Push alt in FS and go into the PMDG->Key commands menu somewhere there. Go into doors and set door open and close key combinations.
