  1. Hi, One thing, which MUST be improved in V5: Loading of complex scenery addons approaching airports should not lead to a long pause of the simulation as today, but should be done in background. That's at the moment the biggest ruin of immersion in V4.5. Rgds Reinhard
  2. Hi, In FSUIPC you can assign the control 65553, which triggers the following function: "FULL_WINDOW_TOGGLE". This may be done on the right side of the button page. You also can assign key presses to joystick buttons on the button tab and by that send the ALT+ENTER combo to the simulator. This must be done on the left side of the button page. Rgds Reinhard
  3. Hi Sergio, The position of my undocked panels is not my problem. It works perfectly with my saved scenarios. But If you want to use the method of frame limiting discussed in that topic, it's not possible, because the undocked pop-up panels reduce the frames as described. and docked panels don't restore. And I don't want always to dock/undock my panels. So I have only to stay with the internal limiter and my undocked panels on the right position or I could use this new method of limiting the frames, which really works well (core 0 is only loaded to 80% and the sim works very smooth) but my panels would not be at the correct position. I documented my findings here for those, who get similar effects of frames reduced by half, one third etc. So let's return to the topic, how the limiting of frames via nVidia performs... Hi, In my simulator setup (P3D 4.5) with two views (main view=only outside view on 3840x1920 and a second undocked view for the VC only spread over two touchscreens) the limiting via nVidia driver to 30 fps works really fine ... until I use some undocked pop-up panels, which are moved to the second view. As long as all the pop-ups are closed, I run the 30 fps which I set in the nVidia driver. But If I open one pop-up panel, frame rate is only half at 15 fps. And if I open another pop-up panel it's 10 fps only. Closing the pop-up panels immediately gives me back the 30 fps. If I dock these panels to the second view, it works again. So why I am using undocked panels? If I save the scenario with the undocked panels and load it again, the pop-ups appear on the right place. If I save the scenario with docked panels, they re loaded on the left upper corner of the view. So the position is not restored in that case. No idea, if this is a "feature" of P3D 4.5. Rgds Reinhard

  6. Hi, Garmin Trainer launched a new version on June 19th, 2019. The RXP GTN 750 is not recognizing this new version obviously. Hi, You might check my findings about CTD of P3D 4.3 in multiple monitor scenarios: http://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6312&t=131390 I changed my setup, so that P3D main window was on adapter 1 and on the Windows default screen. And by that all my CTDs have gone. No CTD since that change. LM has obviously a problem, if the main window is not on the main screen. I don't know your setup.   12. Hi, Run the additional programs from a cheap networked notebook or PC instead (if possible). That's much better than running it on the FSX PC. It's always a problem switching away from FSX for using other programs. Especially if you consider to use fullscreen. Rgds Reinhard

  14. Hi, I connected the following screens via USB: Acer T231H, The USB support is part of WIN 7 64bit. So this was no problem. If you use more than one touch screen with Windows 7 64bit it's better to use he following drivers: http://www.touch-base.com/ They are not cheap but you have many additional configuration possibilities.   15. Hi, I have two 680. One running three monitors for the outside view. And the other card handles two touch screens for the panels. Together with my GF equipment I need no mouse anymore in my cockpit. Rgds Reinhard

  19. Kostast,Thanks for your input. The only thing is, that Hifi Sim has changed the format for non-US users, which wasn't the same in the past. So they simply should write the old format for all users again - as they did with ASV6.5. That's so simple - but ignored until now.RgdsReinhard
  20. Hi,B647 seems to work for the winds aloft. I flew from BIRK to CYYZ and everything was fine. If your programmers could now do a similar miracle for the data files for non-US users, we would be able to use this now correct wind info for FSBUILD again.RgdsReinhard
  21. Hi,I have never seen any other software vendor ignoring consequently all the valuable input of paying customers to find fundamental errors in the software. We have now very detailled data about depicted data, which in no way can be correct, from users, who have a lot of experience in the weather area. The only message now must be, that this is an accepted bug and that there will be a fix available in near future. And it doesn't depend, if the bug is in the software or the data used.RgdsReinhard
  22. Hi,I had the same phenomen some days ago. Look at this post here in the forum.Within some miles wind direction changes totally for some stations. How should this work? And the bad information: This happened at the same time and place also in ASV 6.5 at the same station. I checked this for this route. So it looks like a data problem. I didn't have any logfiles, as I didn't save them at that time. But as this happens quite often, there must be a possibility to find this issue. And there is definitely an issue!RgdsReinhard
  23. Hi,You might have done some fixes. The problem is alive. See this navlog. Within several miles the wind should turn by 180 degrees ?!?And the bad message: ASV6.5 did similar things. Not at this place but in a similar condition 300 miles north of this place. At one point 40 nm from south and at the next with the same speed from the north. Very unrealistic behaviour.You definitely have not fixed it until today.RgdsReinhard
