ImagineSim KATL FSX
Would agree that calling it FSDT quality is a bit of a stretch. To each his own though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

ImagineSim KATL FSX
Their scenery still has performance issues, especially the night textures which drop frames into the single digits on my system. Tested with QW Bae 146 with the FSX demo. Scenery complexity maxed, auto gen very dense. No AI present Fps during the day: avg of 18 Fps during night: avg of 8-9 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

ImagineSim KATL FSX
Frame rates even in the FS2004 demo version are terrible. My i7 oc'd to 4.0 and a GTX 260 only gets me 17fps with the old Aerosim L-1011 with everything maxed and no AI present. Very gun shy about buying this and I have both FSX and FS9 v2 KATL from them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Will there be another MSFS? Should there be another MSFS?
It's called typing incoherent thoughts after too much Hefeweizen Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Will there be another MSFS? Should there be another MSFS?
When bean counters make the decisions...nope When a smaller outfit that is passionate about flight simming comes along, give them all the support they deserve in regards to whats financially viable Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Flights now defunct future
Wait...isn't/wasn't Joshua Howard a guest speaker at DEVCON in Seattle? Still trying to figure that one out...A guest speaker for a failed product Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Qualitywings Avro for FSX released!
Rockliffe, Frame rate hit for me is little and much in line with the hit you would see with any PMDG add-on. At my payware KATL fps hovers around 25 on the ground in the VC. The thing is that everything is very smooth like Swofford mentioned. Once in the air in the VC, I get 30+ locked. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Qualitywings Avro for FSX released!
I bought the FS9 version last month and was incredibly impressed. Installed the FSX upgrade last night and HOLY MOLY is thing awesome! The modeling both exterior and interior is exquisite. It doesn't model the kitchen sink in its entirety systems-wise, but enough to make me pretty darned happy. And the wing views are there and very good. I'll be putting around the Southeast US in the Delta Connection scheme :) Great job QW! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

David "Opa" Marshall
An incredible and invaluable contributor to this community. :(

And now what?
+1 EXACTLY But of course Howard nor MS will ever admit that Flight was possibly a huge financial flop.

Flight post mortem.
Sure do. And I sent that author an email explaining what was happening in the community and directed him to several different fs forums including this one. His reaction and I quote: "Yikes, sounds like a mess"

Avsim Integrity
Tom, looking forward to your blog. Robert's post in this thread was incredibly interesting, I imagine yours will be too. -Blake

Avsim Integrity
Robert, Incredible insight into something that most of us were very unaware of. I'm suprised that I'm the first to point this out. Incredible that they were so out of touch with this community, but not suprising.

New pictures of Alaska released
^^^^ Quoted for truth. The exception being I'm not flying Flight anymore. Just waiting for the content that'll probably never come. The Alaska screens do look nice but the gameplay and quality of aircraft is a make or break for MS Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Where are the Screen Shots?
Got to follow the same Avsim rules like every other sub-forum; screenshots go in the the screenshot thread unless the poster has a specific problem that can be addressed in a screenshot Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

FSX....and back
Then again, there's no AI in Flight so they could probably model them easily without chucklehead jones smashing into the mountain side with his AI C172

Are you still hopeful?
Oh really? No, I'm not the guy. I didn't curse or personally attack anyone and I was shown the door too this afternoon. Was my post harsh, a bit yes. But having ###### left in the beta forum does them no good whatsoever. Should I cross-reference my cheerleader posting in the other thread?

New A/C available.
The decisions MS are making with this title are absolutely mind-boggling. I don't think I've EVER seen a game company go in the complete opposite direction from the wants of their existant fan base let alone ignore and dismiss them entirely.

Joshua Howard Interview with AVSIM
Wait...What????Stephen gave him a 10-day suspension, but now he's outright banned and all his posts removed to show any sort of evidence he was even in this conversation? Man, there needs to be some consistency. :unsure:And now I've noticed my first post in this thread has been deleted. What on earth is going on Moderators?

Joshua Howard Interview with AVSIM
The thing is, I find myself unwilling to post anything in regards to Flight other than I don't like it. I was a beta tester, I beta tested it, I gave some feedback, I don't/didn't find it my type of game-experience, therefore I haven't played it or bought any DLC for it. I'm in the camp that think's BeachAV8R's (Chris Frimuth) review at simhq was absolutely spot on in his findings/opinion.Yeah, I'm gunshy about posting here and I'm willing to bet many Avsim members are too.I do want to say thanks to Tom for posting it, and Josh Howards's answers (or lack thereof) confirm many of my sentiments regarding Flight.
