    Not sure if it's right, but with a total electrical failure my first thought would be to start the APU, but does it also need some electrical power to start?? :rolleyes:

    FSUIPC is still a good idea, in my opinion. I still had erratic wind behaviour using AS2012, but the wind smoothing in FSUIPC cured it.

    I just don't move them to the max, just short of it.

    I set the buttons up to have F2 continuously when pressed, and F1 on button release.

    I use TOPCAT. I can only tell you off hand, that with 1914 kgs of passenger cargo, TOPCAT distributes as 917 kgs front, 997 kgs rear.

    I recently had a problem being unable to click on any switches, but I doubt it's related to your problem. Mine wasn't a fresh install. After alot of messing around I found my position within the flight deck was too far back. I had re-position myself a little more forward using the keyboard.

    Don't take exception Dave. Nearly everyone I've seen who posts in the forum without their name is usually reminded. I must admit, I did think the post sounded very much like a pirated copy, it does happen, but obviously in your case I'm incorrect. Welcome to the forum. There's lots of friendly contributors amongst us willing to assist any way possible. The topics can get a little robust at times, but so what....there's never any punches thrown. Your contributions are also welcome.

    If your using 2D panels only Marcus, I only recommend trying the VC for a period of time. You might be surprised after a while that you ever used 2D panels in the first place. I use EZDOK to setup the Captains view how I like it, then either pan around the cockpit with hat switch or switch to other views setup with EZDOK. The Captains view. is simply returned anytime with one click of a button on your joystick. Give it a go and I'm sure you'll be happy with the NGX very quickly.

    I'll have to have a look later and confirm, but I'm pretty sure one of the options to import a plan is .rte?

    The same reason you would buy a Ferrari, then replace the dashboard with that from a Mini Cooper S??

    Did you reinstall the entire NGX. I've had the same problem you've reported after installing the United 737-800wl paint. Cheers

    IMO the easiest point to miss is having both radios set for the ILS freq.....

    Are your altimeter pressure settings, (QNH), correct?

    Odd to me..... You have nearly the exact same specs as me and I've never had the same issue, detailed scenery, or not. Could be worth renaming your fsx.cfg, thus creating a new one and see if it's something in the config.......I'm scratching at straws tho.

    Squishy......It doesn't change the fact that using your mouse drops FPS by 35%, nothing will.......it's part of FSX if you haven't quite got the hang of it yet!Give it a rest, and put your efforts into upgrading your pc........
