  1. You are welcome!
  2. 1. No 2. We cooperate with UTX and we replace textures UTX uses with custom textures that are integrated with GEX. This also causes UTX to blend in seamless with GEX. - GEX NA 2.10 - is the latest release and this is again a major update to 2.00 with new city textures. Go here for the promo and images; GEX 2.00 Promo and images: http://www.simforums.com/forums/gex-north-america-v200-images_topic51298.html GEX 2.10 Info and images: http://www.simforums.com/forums/gex-world-major-city-updates-and-gex-na-v21_topic52352.html
  3. We are working on it and I will post some progress screenshots very soon!
  4. This tool is fantastic especially considering the cost! Great work Mark!!
  5. We are working on a major update for Northern and Central Europe.
  6. As for the EU update we are making the fields bigger and a better variety in green, dirt and other color types, as well as a few rapeseed fields, reflecting current EU 2015 conditions. I am doing some thorough research, but of course we are limited to 3rd party landclasses. We will keep our progress updated on the simforums. Yes we are listening to your inputs!
  7. Sorry I misunderstood, GEP3D is global, UTX is indeed regional for NA and EU. Regarding uninstalling FTX; there is a thread here; http://forum.avsim.net/topic/471452-safe-method-to-remove-ftx-globalvector/
  8. GEP3D uses textures and autogen, UTX is vector, etc
  9. UTX = FTX Vector as well as 3D / 4D night lights. It has all the roads, moving road traffic, railroads, road encasements, bridges, extrusions bridges, accurate coastlines, rivers, lakes and coastlines. Golfs, parks and forests. Ports and docks. UTX also has custom land classes for vegetation and urban / suburban cities. And much more. The GUI allows the user to customize a huge amount of options too. GEP3D works in conjunction with UTX and adds special textures for roads and night roads, cities, parking lots, golfs and parks, which can be enabled via the GEP3D user interface. See the UTX product page at Flight1 for all features and see the link I added above for the guide on setting up UTX as realistically as possible correlating with our screenshots.
  10. GEP3D works with any mesh product. Mesh is wire frame, textures cover the frame. By the way, this is how we setup UTX for all the shots we show; http://www.simforums.com/Forums/setup-utx-all-versions-update-new-lights-settings_topic46147.html scroll down to: Setting Up UTX For Performance and Visuals
  11. To clear up the confusion, the flight1 website and our support forum is very clear; You do not need the pro or enterprise versions of GEP3D unless you are affiliated with training, military or need that level of support. This product will work in all versions of Prepar3D. If you are not looking for support for professional pilot training, military, FAA, academy training, or, affiliated with a corporation and require that support, the professional and Enterprise editions are not required.
  12. We are now officially endorsed by LM! Not sure if I can link it here so if anyone has a problem with the link I'll remove it. http://prepar3d.com/news/2015/07/110332/
  13. GEP3D and UTX will not be effected by these P3D updates...
  14. To clear up some misunderstanding, GEP3D will work in all versions of Prepar3D. If you are not looking for support with professional, military, FAA, academy training, or, affiliated with a corporation and require that support, the Professional and Enterprise license editions are not required.
  15. Yes with UTX 2.1 we designed the night, day and road / highway textures of GEP3D to be fully compatible with UTX. The setting in the GUI will read if UTX is installed and the special textures can then be enabled. The night maps need to be enabled from the UTX setup tool. The setup that was used for the images is outlined at the link I posted above, then scroll down to "Images below demonstrate the product in use with Prepar3D 2.5" :-)
  16. POP_FREE_AUTOGEN -> ALL autogen, so all buildings and all trees
  17. It works on buildings as well
  18. Its Ground Environment Prepar3D (GEP3D for short). It was soft released in our forum last week. We will be making official announcements sometime next week once we go through the initial launch test cycle. http://www.simforums.com/forums/ground-environment-prepar3d-world-edition-release_topic52610.html
  19. Scenery Complexity - Extremely Dense Autogen vegetation density - Extremely Dense Autogen building density - Extremely Dense and in Prepar3D.cfg -> POP_FREE_AUTOGEN=1
