Hi gp....heheheheh, right!!!!...I disconnected the pedals from the USB hub, I have 5 hubs, since I built my cockpit to resemble a GA turbo. Cleaned the contact and placed it in another hub then I re-calibrated the pedals with the CH utility. Started FSX, checked that no other control was referencing the rudder other than the pedals and opened a plane and there was the rudder perfectly straight. Flew around for a while and its is back to normal.....I guess a faulty hub connector or a dirty pedals one or the re-calibration, anyway I am a happy pilot again. Anyway I continue to delve in X-Plane which has never bothered me at all....Thank You again. Gera/Pilota...

Hi guys, thanks for the answers....BobKK47, I tried twice using the CH calibration tool but did not do any good. Did it with FSX closed as you suggested....gboz:,(num pad 5) all it does is set the rudder to neutral but as soon as I touch the pedals the rudder jumps to the right again....

Hi guys.... All of a sudden the Rudder of my planes tends to go to the right and I have not been able to "tune it" again to center. This is very anoying and FSX is beginning to be disliked by this pilot!!! can someone tell me what's going on??, I would hate to dis-install since I have it pretty full and am sure I would loose some stuff by doing so....Thank You I use: CH Eclipse Yoke and Pro Pedals.....

ORBX wins by far.......I don't think you have a good enough PC for either one. I am really enjoying FSX as never before with it.

I have almost all their Mesh and Scenery up to now and they are very good. Concerning price, they have the lowest prices in the market so anyone can start building up their world.....go for it.

I have three monitors also But I don´t get the distortion you show on the side monitors...have you checked that your "resolution" on the game is equal to what you have set for the monitors in your Nvidia Panel???....zoom level is also very important.

Hi Tom I followed the recomendation on the manual to update my fsx.cfg with ******* Pejote´s page...uhmmm, thanks I will delete that!!! I have a copy of the previous one on aseparate drive, Thanks again....(what logbook???)

Hi guys and fellow 737 pilots.... Finally bought the PMDG 737NGX and to my dismay, after setting up the sim, as per the manual when I load the plane FSX crashes!!!!....I have uninstalled the model three times, reviewed all the set ups necessary and Bam!!! no way it will load. I have quite a bit of models, all Captain Sim, several bought 737s and they all load fine and fly perfectly. My system is a 3.6 AMD, Ati7850, 8gig ram, 1 Tera disk half full, 600 watt PS, and it runs great giving me a constant 30-40 fps with any plane.....can someone tell me what I might be doing wrong???..at the price of this model it really makes me mad I bought it.....

MS did not pay attention to loyal decades long followers and customers, as many others around here did not either, because of their greed..................good for you Microsoft....FSX has a life for many more years, P3D is flourishing and the door is wide open for anyone who wants to make a Flight Sim, what could be better??....The King is dead, Long live the King!!!!.......

Sorry for the WIX site. It works fine with some readers and not with others. So far I have gotten mostly good e-mails from the "experiment" but also two which apparently find it hard to sit down and read for around 10 minutes. Reading today is getting obsolete!!!!! brains register "chats" without reading, like looking at a Neon sign, they absorb it and away with it.....anyway I feel mostly happy for the nice letters I got.....I write these short stories and publish them all over so I thought that a try with FSX would be interesting.....I suppose most simers today do not even know what "pulp magazines" were and how everyone waited for the next issue. Doc Sa**e, and Bill Barnes were my preferite. Am talking late 1940s and early 50s guys!!!!! Well this is "Pulp FSX", and Max Rex is the dude!!!!! The next one will be in India/Nepal....Will the river give Max trouble or will the Mermaids of the strange lake foul up the expedition??? A Cessna Amphibian will be his mount....Standby!!! trip7cap...LOL, .I don´t sell anything amigo!!!!!...all my stuff is freeware, at least until now!!!!!

For those of you flying this aircraft......Max Rex will be using it to fly in the jungles of South East Asia and Vietman on the "Rockller & Fritzer Expedition" looking for the resent Meteor strike which is causing strange thunder, red lightning and a acrid smell in some parts of the jungle. Anny Vrazzer, the well known " Earth and Space Museum Curator" in Milano will also participate to the joy of all. Airfields are very short and some still have large bomb craters so flying into them will be a challenge for this beautiful turbo..... Gera

I am partly very happy at what Flight is. First of all it has Opened a Wide window for others to come out with a new flight sim with all the technology that has not yet been used. Prepar3D just lowered its price and now can be gotten by most. Prepard3D will in a short time be covering all corners of FSX and with a much better platform. That is very good for us Sim Hobbyists who like FSX but keep looking for something better. MS and the new crew in Flight have really broken the eggs!!! To come out and practically say that they have forgotten their great past of Sim-Game software is the most incredible thing I have heard of any company trying to sell a new Flight game that they have not a clue how it will fair in the year!!!!..Mr.Howard is lost in space and has no idea what the thing he fostered is. A game? A Sim-Game? a baby Sim Game?....planes without cockpits have been around for decades in shooting arcade games so that´s not new. When I flew (??) the PT-17 over the island I felt as if the "Maya 2012 revelation had occured right there to start"..it is so lonely without a human figure, IA aircraft or even static ones, no cars just vegetation and water....a very lonely place to be in. The big ship in teh harbour is dead as a door nail, not even some smoke from the chimney!!!..I tried On-Line flying and there were Two!!!(2) guys!!!!! What??? I was expecting at least eight or ten!!!!..two guys and in about five minutes they quit, I did too.....Let´s see the bright side of this MS blunder: A Great Window is wide open for the bettering of FSX through new addons both freeware and payware, Prpa3D lowering prices and many new addons to it, Sounds of New Sims on the way, and X-Plane 10 struggling more and more to be better....all that is just fine for us Simers who love our hobby. In my case, I am more eager to upload more of the freeware many of you like....Sometimes, many times, what looks like something bad is a Blessing....I think that´s the case in hand.

Amigo, I think you should start looking at something else since the Flying Sim-Games are not your thing, have you tried Dirt? or Dirt2? maybe running around tracks and other aspects of racing would be more of your liking and enjoyment.

I agree with you, only because my son or grandson likes a PC game it does not mean its good or bad. Eight months ago my five year old grandson started to play with FSX. I got him in a Cessna 150 and showed him how to start the plane and step by step he learned to take off , cruise and land. He now does that quite well on several aircraft. FSX is a great tool for learning to Sim-fly using the basic planes and in total VFR. So saying that "that is the great fantastic news with Flight" is not exactly true. My sons learned to Sim-Fly with FS5 and FS9 and several of my older grandsons did with FS9. I really do not see the "Wows" and "Hurras" with Flight as a game to pull kids to like to fly or Sim-Fly, The MS FS family has been doing that for years!!!!....I downloaded it and flew the PT-17 for three or four times and its ok, it flies fairly well and is as easy as pie. The scenery is fine but after fifteen minutes it got bored, maybe because am used to Sim-Flying in so many different places I like much more, like mountain country. Maybe Alaska will be better, I´ll wait for others to get it when its out and read what they say. Like all Games and Sim-Flight/games, Flight is there now and some will love it and others simply not care which way it goes since it does not attract them at all. If we all liked the same thing it would be a very boring world and no innovation would be around. I personally do not thing it will "pull" many to more concentrated Sim-Flight or the Sim-Flight Hobby, Many people do nor realize that flying is Not a "very interesting" activity to most people and many parents hope their sons and daughters never think of becoming pilots since the thought of "dangerous" still looms around the profession. Kids like their games with a lot of "action, Sound, with music playing along, and even a lot of shooting", look at the game consoles and their games...Anyway, one more PC game in the block, either a flying one or a space adventure will not change what the Sim-Flying Hobby is all about.

I can imagine Flight crashing together with its Server....Steam does that. Sometimes you load an addon and even though it went in ok, you can´see it!!! Steam was haked and many users lost game links and had all kinds of problems....just thinking in investing money and not been able to fly because the server is down is PoPo to me.......really guys for what has been written by pro Flight and against it, its all sounds that its not for us hardcore simers. I am in the middle of my home cockpit using usb instruments, client side panels etc....Flight no matter what they do that is not on the as real Sim characteristics as we have been used to is of no interest to us....sure it will appeal to kids for a few weeks or months then when the thrill of flying around islands with very few airfields and picking up coins in the air with a tinkerbell sound gets really boring it will fade into the jungle of so many games you find in those "online" treats!!!!.....I read they have all kinds of Missions, yea great, but once you finish one why would you fly it again, missions are a one shot deal...They say some sticks work other not, maybe they plan on a M$ stick you can easily buy too...Concentrate on your good FSX or FS9 sim there is so much addons you will probably retire and go visit St. Peter before you use them all.......have fun. ( PS. X-Plane 10 is also out there moving on, the X-Plane 10 Demo is much better than what I have seen in YouTube on the Flight Game).

Well written Francois!!! you wrote what real Sim Hobbyists feel about a friend turning his back on you for a few dollars. If people would not be so caring and adoring dollars this would be a friendlier place....I thank God I am not a millionare, who the hell needs so much dough????...anyways, only those in the Hobby that can get into a cold cockpit and get the plane up, set up the VORS and fly with real weather, follow maps and can understand Stars sa well as those following that route.. can really understand why we hobbyist feel what we do about MS and its Flight game...many, as I read above, Play with FSX , FS9, X-Plane as a game and surely can´t see the difference, they are excused.......go play in the yard boys, later do your homework and only then play with your Flight game...I said!!!

I think Flight will increase FSX sales, its the best booster for it in the last two years.

If you are between 20-30 years old...Rejoice!!! about the development time of X-Plane, you´ll have a lot of time to enjoy it....we old flying geese will probably hit the tip of their iceberg and zoom out to kingdom come!!!!!! where no Sim will be needed......I agree with you on FSX.....with M$ trashing their sims with the Flight Game, I think they have Wide Opened a window for FSX developers of all kinds, real simmers will stick to this last of a breed Sim like leeches!!! and those developers who have vision will give their best, those that discard this opportunity will fade away......Do not discard guys that will be keen on developing a New Sim, some are already priming their engines......I suspect M$ will regret being a traitor, usually the future turns blue-black for companies like them.
