FS2Crew NGX Reboot SOP1 reference sheet (2-page PDF) + Voice Commands
This a reference sheet I created for the FS2Crew NGX Reboot SOP1 that contains a summary of all the flows and the voice commands required to go through them. It is designed as a 2-page sheet (to be printed as such and perhaps laminated) with the gate/stand to cruise phase on the first page and cruise phase to gate/stand on the second page. Additionally there is a second 2-page sheet containing all the voice commands, as they are listed on the manual. FS2Crew PMDG B77X reference sheet v2 (2-page PDF) + Voice Commands
This is an updated version of the reference sheet I created last year (mentioned here). It contains a summary of all the flows and the voice commands required to go through them. It is designed as a 2-page sheet (to be printed as such and perhaps laminated) with the gate/stand to cruise phase on the first page and cruise phase to gate/stand on the second page. In the end there is also a small reference of the most used (for myself at least) voice commands. Additionally there is a second 2-page sheet containing all the voice commands, as they are listed on the manual. FS2Crew B77X Normal Procedures FS2Crew B77X Voice Commands Comments and suggestions welcome.

Saitek panels or VRInsight MCP Combo (Airbus type)
Thanks. Will have a look..

Saitek panels or VRInsight MCP Combo (Airbus type)
Negative on LINDA. I am not using the Saitek panels anymore as I got a Cockpitsonic RMP and TCAS module. However I would be interested to have a look if you point me to the right direction.

Saitek panels or VRInsight MCP Combo (Airbus type)
Personally I owned the Saitek Radio panel and Multipanel and later the VRInsight combo v.2 (Boeing type). The Radio Panel works with all aircraft, although the Saitek drivers are not as good as SPAD. The Multipanel ONLY works with default FSX aircraft and there is support for the PMDG NGX and Maddog MD82 through SPAD only. Other aircraft are not supported. VRInsight on the other hand works with all aircraft (at least the mainstream ones) and support is added for newer ones as they come. The rotary knobs do take some getting used to, as Gregg mentions, but in the end I like them as they are since you are able to do make small or bigger changes, depending on the speed of rotation.

Dome light
After a couple of flights, it appears that most of the things work perfectly. Excellent product enhancing the flight experience! Just one notice regarding the dome light. It has three positions, off --> on 1 --> on 2. As part of the captain's preflight procedure during the night the dome light must be turned on, i.e. on 1. Afterwards the FO will come and also manipulate the dome light putting it to on 2, i.e. one more turn clockwise. Then during the before start flow, instead of closing the dome light he FO just moves it from on 2 to on 1 instead of closing it completely, i.e. only one turn counterclockwise instead of two turns counterclockwise. Regards,

Soft Mute & Hard Mute key assignements
I fixed the Soft Mute. Had to add "repeat key press while held" that was no needed for PTT, but it is fine now. Fine with Ctrl as well.

Soft Mute & Hard Mute key assignements
It seems I am unable to assign keys that work for Soft Mute and Hard Mute. For Soft Mute I have used Backspace (which is the PTT key for FSInn). It is removed from any other assignment in FSX controls and is sent to the sim via my FSUIPC programmed joystick trigger. Although it is set to be repeated while held (as it is supposed to), when I press the PTT button, MUTE appears momentarily on the FS2Crew panel and then disappears. For Hard Mute I have been using Ctrl+Shift+Z successfully for the NGX but since in the 777 it is assigned as a shortcut for the aircraft itself through the FMC, I decided to use Ctrl+Shift+X, X and some other keys or key combinations without success. In all cases I made sure that the keys were not used for any other program or FSX itself. I had no problem assigning a button to open/close the main panel (C via an FSUIPC programmed joystick button). Any ideas?

Strange Behavior
Hi Richard, In my case it was the second time after 25-30 flights without issues, therefore I raised a ticket just in case PMDG can pinpoint the cause and since I had all the info fresh.. Regards,

Strange Behavior
I faced exactly the same problem today for the second time in the last couple of weeks. Although the A/P is on and all modes are announciated correctly on the FMA it does not control the aircraft. No other modes are working as well, but all instruments appear to be fine and I can hand fly the aircraft without any issues. It is as if the A/P does not have any control over the aircraft.. Only strange behavior was that the A/P disconnect horn does not sound when the I disconnect the A/P (via the A/P discon button) but the warning does appear normally on the master warn button. I will file a ticket as this is the second time this is happening..

Hotas warthog profiles for PMDG 777
I forgot to mention you need the payware version of FSUIPC to do this. If you have it, I'll let you know of the procedure.

Hotas warthog profiles for PMDG 777
I would recommend using FSUIPC to create a profile as it gives you much more control on FSX than the programming suite of Thrustmaster. You will really enjoy this excellent joystick!

FS2Crew NGX Voice Commands reference
Hello, I have created a reference sheet for the FS2Crew for NGX w/voice. It is basically a copy of the voice commands referenced in the manual, but condensed so that they can fit two A4 pages. It is intended to be printed on an A4 sheet front and back (and perhaps laminated) for easy access. You can get it here and I will soon upload it in the library as well. Regards,

Is it possible to uninstall/reinstall FSPax w/o losing your airline profile?
I believe this can be overwritten.

Is it possible to uninstall/reinstall FSPax w/o losing your airline profile?
Backup the database folder and after the new installation replace the contents with the ones you backed up. DO NOT overwrite the folder as it will mess with the copy protection of the software. Only the contents. Additionally if you have any additional payload model than the default ones you should backup/restore those as well. Same applies here for the folder.

User needs help understanding Step Climb
Dear Vangeli,I tried the step climb using estimated winds instead of actual as you suggested but the problem remains. This time the flight was from LGAV to LHBP following NEVRA UZ507 TSL UL617 MAKED UP36 RAXAD UL617 PARAK UY554 ABONY. Initial FL F360 with a step climb to F380 a little bit later. After reaching cruise level I selected the CRZ page and entered the new FL and the estimated wind:The s/c was calculated correctly and then I selected the PROG page:Everything normal again and the s/c was calculated a little bit before MAKED wp:However, after a few minutes when selecting the CRZ page for a second time, the initial calculations disappeared:and the step point changed to NOW:and when selecting PROG page the s/c time remained correct while the distance changed to a negative 6 digit value:although in the ND the s/c was displayed at the same position as before:Afterwards I returned to the CRZ page, deleted the STEP CLIMB value and upon re-entering it it was again calculated correctly regardless of actual or estimated winds. However when i visited the CRZ page again after a few minutes the same problem occurred. Therefore the first time the step climb is always calculated correctly. However if after sometime I visit the CRZ page again the problem occurs. Is this only happening to me?MikeP.S. It seems somebody changed the subject of this topic from "step climb problem" to the one displayed now...

EZCA navigation keys disengage autopilot
The 4 arrow keys also control the elevator/aileron movement. Therefore when you use them it is the same as moving the yoke. Disable them in the default FS key mappings and will not have that problem any more.

User needs help understanding Step Climb
The predicted wind was entered in the PERF page, while the CRZ page was using actual wind for its calculations. I was able to climb when the time came, the calculation was wrong.
