I’m using frame gen with a 2080 8gig of vram with excellent results. Several months ago when I used dx12 my vram would max out and I would get instant stutters. Not sure what’s changed, but now with dx12 and frame gen my vram is still maxed out but with completely smooth results. I use a mix between ultra, high and medium with auto fps set to 57 fps. The one airport that causes stutters, regardless if I’m dx12 with frame gen or dx11 with no frame gen is ini ksat. Other than ksat, every other airport is great.

Version 8 is working flawlessly for me. Hesitant to update to version 9. I’m not a fan of updating for the sake of updating unless there is a worthwhile reason to do so. Anyone regret going to the latest or glad they did?

Tested this mod with my 2080 with only 8 GB of vram. Did 2 legs in the pmdg 737-800. One from Dominicdesign KELP to Bmworld KPHX, and another from ini KLAX to FlyTampa KLAS. Expected this to fail due to low vram, however it did well.. VRAM was maxed out while at the airports but I did not experience stutters. Nor did the sim crash. Minor issue with the texture on taxi way L in KELP and weird ghosting on the pmdg HUD. But all else was impressive. Usually get stutters and between 28 and 35 fps at Klax. With this mod, I get 55-60 at KLAX.

Thanks guys. Linked the gift card to pay pal and still didn’t work. Although the market place does not yet have KBFI, I was able to use the gift card with Microsoft. Got a few Florida airports. Only problem now is KDAB has been “downloading” for over 2 hours now. Not sure what’s going on there.

Hello Avsim, Got a visa gift card for Christmas and was hoping to pick up some airports. Only works in the United States. Are there not any software vendors US based? Looking to pick up KBFI, KRNT and KBLI. Seems PMDG is about the only company I can use this gift card. Thanks

Reverse works very well. I use the thrustmaster airbus thrust levers and 0 to 100 percent in the control settings.

I run a 8700k and a 2080. V2 runs much better on my system than previous updates.

TBM 850 is my favorite GA plane in the sim. So much effort to produce an outstanding aircraft for our sim. Why did they stop at the sounds? As stated above, it’s not what the sounds are like while in exterior view, but that the sound inside is as if you’re outside. I’ve flown in several turbo props. Can definitely hear the prop sound while on the ground during taxi. Especially while in beta. However, once in the air it’s a mild hum at best, dominated by wind noise. Must note though, I have never been in a TBM in real life. Still, I really enjoy this tbm. I usually put on my Bose headset and listen to music while using the tbm. Very enjoyable.

Love the tbm 850. But the prop sounds are horrible. Beta on the ground too quiet and the overly loud, almost external sound of the prop in flight needs significant improvement.

Thanks Bert. I had been on game pass since Aug 2020 and assumed incorrectly that Xbox was not so woven into msfs.

Hello all! I recently cancelled the xbox game pass and purchased the standard version. Still asks me to sign into a xbox account. Must one have a xbox account to use msfs even if they do not have a xbox game pass? Thanks

I much prefer v1 and blackbox 711, however I do enjoy 737NG drivers videos. If his content offends, then perhaps it time to work on one’s emotional fitness.

Definitely hoping for better sounds. While in cruise my tbm sounds as if I’m in beta. Other than sounds, it’s one of my favorites.

Unable to purchase. Says MS account does not match XBOX account. Signed out of both and signed back in to both. They match. Cant purchase the FSR500. Any suggestions? Thanks

Older i7 8700k and a 2080. Locked at 60 fps and smooth.

I have an i7 8700k and a 2080. KSLC performs much better than ini builds KLAX on my system.

Same thing was happening to me when looking around. When this occurred, my 2080 would go to 100 percent and frames down to 10. Then after about 30 seconds, back up to the low 40s. For me, it’s not happening any more after setter texture resolution from ultra to high.

Here is a screenshot with iblueyonder KDAL uninstalled. Looks ok in this screenshot. My system does not like iblueyonder KDAL.

I only have the USA world updates. Do updates for other parts of the world make a difference for the USA? I only fly in the USA.

Can’t rule out an internet issue. However, no other place in msfs has this issue. To include anywhere in the us northeast, Chicago, California, etc.
