I could restart both engines easily inflight in the P3D version. (I deployed RAM AIR Turbine before dual engine failure test) I cut off both engines manually at FL220 to simulate a dual engine failure. Then I was able to start APU (i lost some altitude until it was successful). I configured BLEED AIR to route bleed air from APU to Engine 2. Then I was able to restart engine 2 with manual mode (autostart was not possible, i don't know why) then I was able to restart Engine 1 with manual start too. Majzik Mátyás

Well I am going to purchase 777 for FSX tomorrow. Not because I like 777 and want to fly it. (I like MD-11, 737 and 747 birds much more). I just want to support PMDG and to say thanks for the free 737 FSX:SE compatibility. I am also waiting for the new 747 before I decide to switch to P3D. (That is my favorite plane and I am going to buy it for FSX and if I find it P3D usable for me then I buy it again for that platform.) I also hope MD-11 will be updated to be able to install on FSX:SE and/or P3D. I know it is a legacy plane for you but for me MD-11 is my lover and I do not want to leave her behind. Matyas Majzik

If anyone has refuel window issue with FSPassengersX with PMDG aircraft then I have a solution for you:- load fuel into aircraft through PMDG menu- load FSPassengers- before take off load a very small amount more of fuel via PMDG menu. This causes FSPassengers warning that refuel is not allowed but before takeoff it can be closed without problem and this popup never comes up again during flight anymore. So you can use it without problem.FSPassengersX is really great but very low support comes with it.Matyas Majzik

Well I am not fan of any turboprop I love JETs more but I purchased this day this simulation to support PMDG. However I installed it and it is wonderful. Amazing how it looks and behaves. Maybe I become a fan of turboprops?Thanks again for the great work,Matyas Majzik

I noticed too that landing the MD-11 is harder compared to other aircraft. I just have to relearn landing with this plane. Very interesting. But the best way to learn it is on Kai Tak :)Matyas Majzik

During normal circumstances never use that two AFS buttons. That is not for disengage autopilot and autothrust during normal operation.There is a button on the left side of the yoke for autopilot disconnect. Press that once for deactive autopilot and once again to silence the warning.There is a similar button for autothrust near the throttle levers. You can assign these two functions to a key or button on your stick via the pmdg menu.Matyas Majzik

I do not think that the problem related to indicated air speed.There are several other problems in your picutre:1. engines are off as indicated ?! (No N1, EGT, N2)2. Your current speed in the overspeed range ????Something definitely wrong here.Matyas Majzik

I have a CH Eclipse. It is amazing, very smooth movement. I fly MD-11 so I can use the three levers on top of the yoke to control the three engines. Also it has a built in rudder until I can afford a rudder pedal.I can recommend it to anyone.

Same here.I enjoy go to 'nowhere' where short runways waiting for me so I have to do a very precise landing. I have a favorite where if you do not touch down at the immediate beginning of the runway then you have to do a go around. Sometimes I have to do 3-4 go arounds in bad weather. And of course there is no ILS :)Matyas Majzik

I think yes. Even on the mighty 747, all four engines can be started at once during maintanance in real world. :)Matyas Majzik

I bought it because of the advanced and realistic systems simulation. Once I had a very intense dream about an event in my future that I'l have to land a real aircraft like this because of an accident with the pilot. Maybe that is just a silly dream but I wanted to be sure when that moment comes I can do at least an automatic landing.Also to honor the PMDG team.Matyas Majzik

Same problem here. After correctly setting all things in Load Manager and SENDing it to FSX where I have already loaded MD-11 and Cold and Dark cockpit sometimes I get Out of range for two fields including the TOCG and the one below. It tries to put 42.x value to this field if I right click on it. It is of course out of range. So the right clicking does not read correctly the value calculated in Load Manager. However it sometimes it works or if it does not work I go back to load manager and send all information again then it works with correct values.This is With MD-11 for FSX with the new update.Matyas Majzik

Same problem. No dome lights in FSX after MD-11 update. Also textures on overhead panel at night with lighting are awful and at day the labels in the overhead panels are ugly. The buttons have very crisp clear textures why the overhead panels other text are so bad?????This is my only problem with this simulation every other aspects are perfect.Matyas Majzik
