Experimenting with what you said looks like your right.

I noticed lately with all these tweaks and ex frame rate limiter and all that my rig runs nice but won't go in full screen mode, and if i'm running 30 frames and put in in full screen she drops right down to 15 frames which is 1/2. i kinda noticed some thing was out of wack when i undocked the over head panel of the level d 67 and when i dragged it up to my 2nd monitor,she all dropped to 15 frames and the whole upper panel stayed black only. So now i just put it in full screen and she locked up solid.Must of done some thing along the way to upset this little critter, but in windowed mode i'm real happy with my rig but some things out of wack. Any thing i Undock and drag up to my upper monitor she's all black and drops to 15 frames-- Umm any ideas??

Just wondering , i've been trying out shared cockpit with a couple friends of mine on various planes like the Maam and the Seneca by Carenado and also the Quest kodiak, and it's a real neat experience. Are we gonna be able to fly shared with the new ng or is it gonna be too complicated to do . Louis

Hi i got my rig tested with the tool but a stupid question --now i still have Nhancer in do i take it out?? And something else, when a guy changes some thing in the fsx conf. file when does it take effect , you shut down the sim and restart or how does that work?.And ******* every time i see how devoted you are to this and the patience you have i just shake my head in amazement, i don't understand really what you do, are you changing and rewriting new codes from the original fsx sim from Microsoft?

I bought the 757 and weather radar but is the radar ever hard on frames , man she sucks it down from 30 frames right down to 15 .

Oh my, now 2 months to learn how to fly it PROPERLY again since i never flew it since FSX came out . Never ever thought it would come out for FSX, since Bob put a tremendous amount of work in it for Fs9. She's a hanfull and certanly not for the faint at heart.

Sure wish some one would make a u-tube video on it cause i can't get it to work no how.

I'm really starting to think the 1st tweak to have is 4Ghz for your rig or forget it. Then there's -you have to be a computer guru- to put a lot of this stuff in, like the external frame rate limiter, well i still can't get it to work,then this tweak http://www.venetubo.com/fsx.html well can't get that going either cause how do you clip it on the clip board? very frustrating this can be ----Louis

Using Precision Flight Controls for yoke and throttle quadrent.

I wound up deleting my fsx conf file and built a new on so far so good. You know how it goes a teak here and one there and pretty soon you don't know what the heck you did. but i'l try what you said and i do have accelerator. For a system like i have in Orbx PNW she's pretty sad, coming out of Concrete she's at 20 frames and major stuttering ,, pretty fed up with this. I'm gonna have to start saving all this stuff (answers) when it comes to problems. Your flying along --FSX of course- unlimited frames are 50 -60 no problem there but every so often there's these not to big square white little blankets that pop up for a mili second and go away, i read once what causes this but can't remember. Any ideas?--- Louis

In regards to the data put in the FMC, is the data that's gonna be shipped with the new bird going to be fairly recent or are we gonna have to register at nav data to get up to date on the latest stars and such?. Or mabye no on knows as yet. Louis

With the track IR. I have the main screen and directly ABOVE the main screen i have a 2nd monitor . DO or should a guy have a monitor on each side of the main monitor which then you would have 3 or can you get total satisfaction with the set up i have, cause i've been pondering getting the IR for the longest time now

I 've posted this on a few other forums and no answer but some one else must have the problem also. The Beech 18 from Milton Shupe is ok -- the Maam DC3 is ok .I'm running Presicion Flight Controls for throttles and yoke . I just bought the Carenado Seneca and here's my delima. When you get the bird off the ground you bring back the manifold pressure and then bring the props back to say from 2500 RPM to -let's just say 2300 RPM when i bring back the props the plane just sits there and jumps up and down no matter how smooth i bring them back. If i use CTRL+F2 and not the throttle quadrent it still does it but it's fine on the Beech 18 and the Maam so what's ailing this thing Carenado won't answer me Presicion Flight Controls won't answer me and no answer on other forums surly some one else must have this issue. It's very frustrating cause i fly real world and want to use the engine management specs properly.It's just the props that are the problem bringing back the mixture above 3, 000 feet for EGT is ok, it's just the props and man does she bounce up and down, the quest Kodiak does it also .

Took this quote over at OrbX from John Venema , and he puts it straight and simple if you want to run Pacific north west from Orbx with no fooling around. If your nervous about trying Vatsim, your not alone cause we've all been there and were just like you. Get yourselve set up and look on Vatspy if you don't have it get it in cause it will show all the controllers who are on and all pilots . Pick a busy airport -park yourselve at a gate -ramp or what ever -go to spot view and just look around and listen to what is going on and watch every one taxi -land- take off, and get the drift of the lingo till you confortable to give it a shot. The main thing is never hook up to Vatsim parked on the runway cause that's a real sure way of getting yourselve in major trouble right off the get ko.You can fly around without being in a virtual airline club but dream up a call sign cause that you need for sure and you should have the plates of the air ports youre gonna fly in and out of. He might say departing runway 34 off the Stamp 1 departure and you won't know the procedures for that departure. If you go to liveatc.net you can listen to real world traffic at an airport of your choice to learn the lingo. Every thing he tells you you are going to have to repeat it back, so get a pen handy and write down every thing he says

In the Passenger version is the folder model.ual_m and below the folders a file named aircraft.cfg.Open the folder model.ual_m.There is a file Model.cfgOpen Model.cfg.Edit add -y[models]normal=dc3_ual_medium-y save and close the folder.Open aircraft.cfgEdit add _mModel=UAL_msave and close.The yoke is gone.

I see some thing in computer mag that i kinda thought of doing but i only run FSX .. This guy bought a touch screen monitor the same size as a FMC and what he did was undock it and slip it under the touch screen. Kinda neat i thought ---Louis

Yes i to have the same problem and find it very annoying, and the payware P-12 the same thing happens which leads me to believe it's the turbo props that are doing it . I posted here about it a month or so ago and some one said it was a microsoft issue.The other thing i find with it that get's me is when you take off and are suppose to bring the prop back to below 1,700 and you'll notice it jumps up and down or like it (bobbs up and down )and the same thing when you go full prop foward to land , so ya i hate it to. Also i run high dollar precision flight controls for yoke and throttle quadrent and find it very hard and frustrating trying to set the throttle for it and the P-12 as it's always too much or not enough and very hard to taxi. So your not alone bud. Louis

I followed Nick's tweaks with the nHancer, bought P-North West and was just amazed how my rig was running, my specs are below and i'm not running garbage as you see.In my fscong. file i don't have the [bufferpool] thing affinity mask or nothing in there and do NOT have the external frame rate utility, just had Nick's set up cause the way it was running i didn't think i needed it cause she was purring alone just ticky . . But like usual i went and put in the new nHancer 2.5.9 and that was a mistake cause this thing has to run better then this since i slapped that thing in there , i should of left it alone. Now every now and then i have a white sheet of light zip in and out, and when i look out my window to the ground she was so nice and smooth but now she's jerking. Buying it is not the problem for me but most of this stuff you have to be a computer engineer to confiquere it properly, and of course they never tell you that so right now unless they have a real good getting started tutorial on u-tube i can't be bothered, been caught too many times getting frustrated.
