  1. I think PMDG will not be pleased to find their manuals on a filesharing platform!The original pdf file seems to have a bug around page 58 causing the Acrobar Reader to crash.Simply load the document again, jump to page by entering the page number in the menu bar and all is fine.

  4. No, the range is 3070 nm (NBAA IFR Fuel reserve 200nm, 0,82 mach, max fuel, max TOW, zero wind) and distance from EGLL to KJFK is aprox. 3040 nm, so not really a good idea
  5. I did it indeed 3 times with the MD11 and the 747-400 from Munich to SF, but it is quite a while ago, as it is somehow boring. From Europe to NY is enough and even this can't be done with the CitationX. And as we will never see a Gulfstream or Falcon with the quality of a PMDG product, the 737 BBJ is the only choice.
  6. What makes the 737 NG BBJ interesting for me is to fly a smaller jet on long distance trips, where I usually have to use either the MD11 or 747.And the range of a BBJ is far ahead of a e.g. Citation X. So with the BBJ you can fly nonstop Londen - Los Angeles.

  9. Sorry guys, but all those tools do nothing more that couldn't also be done with the tools within Windows itself. And making you system faster by e.g. cleaning the registry is nothing more then fairy tale as old as Windows. So don't waste any money on this, keep it for an upgrade of your NGX ;)

  12. Mine looks nearly the same (some more entries) and I don't have any issue with FSDT (at least the Hawaiian airports) and the NGX. Did you made regular updates through "Windows Update"?
  13. Rick, should also keep in mind that you installed your FSX in the worst location: "C:\Program Files (x86)\....". Under Win7 you really should avoid this, due to the way that W7 handels this folder regarding access the rights. Choose any other location like C:\FSX for FSX and its addons!

Just to inform you, the current forum software AVSIM and others are using got a bug in the search function: If you put in a keyword in the searchbox on top of the page (e.g. saying "Search... this forum"), only topics will show where the keyword is part of the title. This happens also when you use the "Advanced" search function and select "Search title and content"! The only resolution is to additionally select in the "Advanced" search function "Display results as posts". I guess this is important to know, when we ask other users to use the seach function!
  15. regarding European Charts: best solution is to open a free acount at Eurocontrol for EAD Basic and you will have access to all official charts and AIP for all European airports!
  16. There is one thing I don't understand:People were asking for an aircraft addon that comes as close as 100% to the real one. And now they got what they were asking for. And like the real aircraft it is complex and needs a lot of knowledge to fly it properly.But now they are asking for a "one pager", that makes them able to handle it, because they are not willing to spend a certain amount of time to learn. These checklists, done by some forum members, yes, they are well done, but they do not cope with PMDGs 7373NGX.jm2c
  17. You don't need Winzip especially, just a tool to unzip the file and there is a lot of freeware around.
  18. Next time, make the screenshot a little bit bigger. But your problem seems to be related to you OS/Installation/Hardware/graphiccard driver/settings
  19. Normally not, as the Installer checks if there is already a newer version and eventually skips the installation and gives you a message about this.

And not everything can be detected through beta test. But I'm also sur, that man issues are no issues, because: 1. Most people think, that they know what they are doing ("I know what I'm doing, because I'm a experienced simmer", "I'm used to fly complex aircraft", "in other aircrfat it works, why not here"......). This is the biggest mistake. Start from the scratch like a newbie that never ever has flown such a complex aircraft and you will be successfull. Same applies to "old" PMDG users. This also means, that you have to read that fu..ing manual! RTFM 2. Many people are overstrained. They bought the most complex aircraft addon available and even don't know what RNAV means! Yes, I've seen many questions like "I've a problem with the NGX... and btw. what is RNAV" here and at other forums.
  21. Agrre with you! and most people are not aware of the fact that the human eye doesn't see any difference for anything above 25 fps!
