Good to know I'm not alone with this.I'm not registered with any magazines or newsletters. The address of the inbox I received the message at was never given or posted publicly or submitted to anything except a few US-based flight sim forums like this one.

I recently got an email from "First Class Simulations" (noreply@sourcewise.net) to my personal email address, advertising the PMDG MD-11.However, I have never registered with them, and apparently I would have no need to as they are supposedly an internet store at the other side of the world. I used the forgotten password link and my email address is indeed not registered with them.So how did they get my email address to solicit the product, and are they even an authorized reseller?The website they included in the email is "www.firstclass-simulations.com".Pictures of the email:Pictures deleted... let's not give them a full page color ad here at Avsim as a reward for spamming us....

I am usually the "casual" get in and fly type of person but I am often trying to learn about the various systems along the way. The more I learn, the more I become a serious simmer when I need to be, and being a serious simmer is a very important part of my ever expanding profession.Today I was given the privilege of flying a Level-D Airbus A320-200 simulator and I learned a lot about the aircraft's functions. It is so much easier to fly the real bird than the FS recreations.

Yesterday I flew from Orlando to New York (JFK) and back to Orlando in the same day on JetBlue A320s.While at Kennedy I saw the Emirates A380 taxiing and I got my first clear photos of the plane. Also on the return I got to see the mid-air sunset, one of the most beautiful sights there is. When I got to the terminal I saw a JetBlue A320 that was so new that it didn't have a name yet.Also last weekend I went to Sun 'n Fun, and saw a whole bunch of performances including Aeroshell and the Golden Knights. I also got to tour a KC-135.Also a couple years ago I got to see an A4C Skyhawk being restored.

Agreed. I feel bad for the poor people that ran for their life as if it was 9/11 all over again. They could have at least informed people in the local area so they knew not to worry.

I did send it back. After two months of having it, they tried to sell me out with two 4870s before offering me a refund because it was discontinued. What FPS do you get at JFK with those settings?

If you take out one of your 4890's, do you notice a performance drop? Also are you using SP1 or 2?I am trying to figure out what card to buy for my system in which a 4870x2 went bad before I had a chance to use it. Now it is discontinued. I am debating between a GTX 285 and this.

Just curious - how did you get FSX to work with a multi-GPU configuration?

For the past two years, I have been using cable internet service, and my ISP has provided me with Netgear WCR614 routers. These consistently start failing only a few months after I get them (wireless network and internet connection drop out) to the point where I have been through eight or nine of these routers since I started using the service. Every time I have the problem, I have to go upstairs, unplug the router from it's power adapter, and plug it back in again. Sometimes it starts working again, and other times I have to reset it multiple times. Since I was told that it is because my ISP uses refurbished routers, I bought a brand new one of the same model from Best Buy two months ago.Now this brand new router is failing, and I am sick and tired of having this problem.What should I replace it with?

Lets discuss a few things with your system plans.The ASUS Rampage II Extreme is a bit troublesome, as it has a problem with short-circuiting when attempting to cold boot. This fried the i7 965 that I had, which Intel replaced under warranty. I am currently using a Gigabyte motherboard.Good choice of CPU and I hear Corsair is a pretty good brand of RAM.FSX does not support multi-GPU configurations, so you wouldn't get very good performance from the GTX295. It would be better to get the GTX285, as it is the best card available for FSX.I think it would be better to install Windows on one hard drive (something inexpensive and small), and have each FS installation on a separate, high-performance drive. Then the needed files would be accessed faster as there would be nothing else being loaded in the background from them.What power supply are you using?Also, the only reason I can think of for using Vista instead of XP x64 is for using DirectX 10 Preview mode, which is very buggy. Unlike the rumors, XP x64 is very stable and I never had any compatibility issues with it.Good luck with your build, I hope it goes a lot smoother than mine has been.

What are your system specs?It looks like a situation that occurs when a graphics card is struggling for some reason.

This loser "mignulikz" has been doing these terrible activities on several flight sim forums across the web. I know this because I got a notification of receiving the same message on another website, and there was a big thread about it including that the link led to spyware and adult content.Here is the thread in which I was informed about this, on the ProjectAI forum.

Please keep us posted on the responses you receive, if any, from Microsoft.Over half of the time, Microsoft's support simply abandoned me in the middle of the problem (such as never calling back or never responding to emails).
