Do you have HDR turned on in Windows?

Light bloom is off. Will try to switch on HDR in Win10, but last time when I tried it, I got a BSOD. The screenshots and videos, made by other users look much better without this white light. Strange....!

I really like the new sim, but I have a strange problem: The display is much too bright. Not the cockpits, but the whole scenery and especially the clouds. The clouds don't show any details in the distance, it's only a "very white", bright mass and the scenery is "milky, washed out" and bright greenish during flight. I tried everything (Windows settings, monitor settings), but no success. My specs are: 8700k (4.8 Ghz), 32 GB, RTX2800 (3840x2160, no HDR), LG 47". Any hint or advise? Thanks a lot!

I know the real TNCM very well, have to go there for work regularly. For now, the appearance is really a little bit disappointing, but I hope, an add-on will solve it soon. Another big problem are the huge "mammut trees" on the hills. I hope, this can be fixed...

I got this problem after rebuilding a new prepar3d.cfg due to a graphics driver update. Never had it before. It happened especially when changing to window mode or after loading a new scenery. Then, I compared my new settings with my settings before - and I noticed, I forgot to choose "mipmap vc panels". After activating it, the problem was gone! I found this bug mentioned for version 3 of P3D, so it seems, it's back in P3D V5 (HF2). It seems only to apply to aircraft models with xml-coded displays like years ago. If you suffer from the "device hang problem, just try it ....! Good luck! 😉

I also bought a 1TB M.2 SSD (Samsung 970 Evo Plus) to be prepared. But can anybody confirm that it will be possible to install MSFS2020 (or at least the majority of the data) on another drive than C:?! Thanks!

And another problem for me - already discussed by other users in the Majestic forum: The hydraulics values are jumping like crazy. Re-installing as administrator doesn't help. (P3D V5HF2, Win10 2004). Hoping for a quick fix...

Yes, unfortunately, I can confirm this observation. Have the same problem with objects from Orbx Germany North...

Did anyone could notice a (bad?) impact on VRAM-usage?

Exactly! The windsock-mdl's are missing - I already sent an email to Justsim, but without a reaction yet...

You have to download the installer from your shop account before it appears in the updater!

I have a strange issue with the PAPI lights (P3D V5 HF1) - they are only white- even at default airports and using the correct height. Anybody with the same observation?

Cannot confirm this - both are running fine next to each other, including the B747 update.

I was fighting with the same problem (night textures during daytime) and, for me, it was due to the new Orbx Central. Using FTX Central 3 and re-installing everything from Orbx (Base, Vector, openLC) fixed it for me! I will never touch (open) Orbx Central V4 again - it messed up everything in my P3DV4...!
