  1. I accept defeat, you were right all along.
  2. Well whatever you think, it fixed the issue I was having with disconnecting and hopefully will fix it for others too.
  3. I have not used the Google Maps mod ever and this totally fixed the disconnection issue for me.
  4. I am just doing a flight now after applying a fix for the disconnection issue I found last night. All seems well, I haven't had one single disconnection while setting up my flight in the MD-82, which I would have had atleast 5 disconnections during setup.
  5. While on the ground at any airport I have constant online disconnection issues, as I have been reading around on multiple forums it seems to be a widespread issue - is there anyway to turn off the notification either within the sim settings or through the cfg file? Its so word not allowed annoying when the notification pops up while you're in the middle of setting up a flight!
  6. Air Lubo and European Air Charter still fly the maddog in Europe. I tried finding the sound files for the MD82 but couldn't, sadly MSFS doesn't appear to work the same way in terms of sound files as P3D does, I wish it did as I would have replaced most of the sound files with TSS.
  7. I followed the steps from Q8Pilots video on SU9 - limiting my fps to 36 in Nvidia Control Panel has significantly improved my performance amongst other settings. Your issue could be an isolated case, as a 30fps drop is quite significant to the point I think more than half the community would be shouting about it. Try a few tips in the video below, it may or may not help you.
  8. If CS released a 727 you can forget about it. If PMDG or a similar dev released a 727 then its an instant buy. The more classic aircraft in MSFS the better.
  9. https://www.flythemaddog.com/forum/index.php?/forum/110-fs2020-repaints-for-the-liveries-manager-tool/ You must register first and also you registration key if I remember correctly.
  10. You'll soon get sick of the automation of the 737 and get a serious craving for a more complex aircraft to fly. The Maddog always wins...
  11. For me those areas are crisp and clear. Must be an issue on your side?
  12. For me its as quick as any other aircraft anywhere between 20 to 30 seconds.
  13. I have just tweaked the calibration settings within the manager...Simulation Options - Advanced Options and set everything at 100%, did a quick fly around and I am getting a lot more response from the flight controls.
  14. Anybody have issues with flight controls being very heavy and needing lots of input from controller? I have the VF Yoko + and although the yoke in the MD82 is responding very well to my inputs, the aircraft is not.
  15. Just keep on refreshing the page. I got in after 5 minutes of many attempts, now I am halfway through the first load into the sim.
  16. I am really looking forward to some of the liveries the community is going to create for the Maddog. Hopefully LH will create the freighter model sometime.
  17. Yes you will have to reinstall all third party addons, unless you also copy the community folder to your desktop or where ever you wish outside of the MSFS directory. I did a reinstall the other day and was very surprised and relieved to see that all of my settings were intact, from graphics settings to control settings. I reinstalled a few days before SU9 due to an isloated issue which was resolved after many hours of frustration.
  18. If you cant find any solution and think that a reinstall is in order do this first...go into LocalCache - Official and copy the OneStore folder to your desktop. Uninstall MSFS then reinstall, let it run up to around 2% and then close the install process. Then add the OneStore folder back into the Official folder and restart the install process. That method should save you from hours of downloading the bulk of the data that is in that OneStore folder.
  19. A potential work around until you find an official fix could be to use the Addon Linker from flightsim.to - launch the sim from that instead and see if it works.
  20. Go into LocalCache - Packages - Official and copy the OneStore folder to your desktop. Uninstall MSFS then reinstall, let it complete around 2% then close the install process and put that OneStore folder back into the Offical folder, then start the install process back up again and it should be done within a few minutes. The OneStore folder holds the bulk of the items that are downloaded when installing MSFS.
  21. Do you have hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling turned on in your graphics settings in Windows (not MSFS)?
  22. I haven't seen that issue. I know you said you're not getting a CTD or freezing, but you could either just wait it out for 10 to 20 minutes, if the text at the bottom of the screen is still changing then that is a good indication that MSFS is still working. If the above doesn't work you could try this https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/ctd-fix-info/471880
