  1. I wish they'd update EIKY to add parking bays you can select from the menu, as currently there are none and you have to start from the runway.
  2. I haven't had any issues whatsoever today and I am flying right now. The only issue thus far is sudden wind changes throwing my aircraft around like a rag doll - I wish they'd fix that!
  3. It seems as if the southern part of Alaska is the only part affected by this issue. I flew to Anaktuvuk Pass from Fairbanks in the DC6 the other day and didn't encounter snow apart from the snow capped mountains. The same cant be said for Juneau, a few weeks ago I flew to Juneau with the OAT of +18C which is well above freezing the area was covered in snow. I hope this issue is addressed as it ruins the immersion.
  4. An absolute no from me, but for those of you that have got it - I hope you thoroughly enjoy it! Looking forward to the -800 now that the -600 is out of the way.
  5. I was using an opacity of 50% for the terrain mask.
  6. That was the issue. Thanks for pointing that out as I would never had guessed.
  7. Does anybody have an issue with big squares appearing on the north side of the runway where there should be water? I am not on my computer right now so cannot post pictures, but its as if parts of the water have been replaced with land.
  8. I have been using toolbar pushback since the Fenix was released and haven't had a single issue with it. Some say it causes a memory leak and performance loss after many hours, but that is a problem with MSFS and not the toolbar pushback as the performance loss after many hours happens with or without the toolbar pushback installed. I just hope Asobo fix the performance loss in SU10 or SU11 as it really affects the enjoyment one gets out of MSFS after a certain amount of hour spent in the sim.
  9. Hopefully not too long now until the 800 releases. The EFB is much needed!
  10. Now with the AN225 destroyed, can anyone tell me why an A380 cannot be converted to a freighter config so that it can specialise in the type of freight the 225 could handle?
  11. Its a good practice to shop around to find the best deals. Sometimes depending on the airport you can save around 5 quid or more by just looking elsewhere. I personally have more payware airports in MSFS than I ever did in P3D. I think the main reason behind that is the price. On Average an addon is much cheaper for MSFS than it is for P3D, sales aren't hard to come by either, with Orbx running several throughout the year - it sure is easy to get that airport you've had your eye on for some time at a significant discount, if only you can hold out for the sales. Freeware content is the best I have ever seen it for a Microsoft flight simulator. I think MSFS's freeware is giving X-Plane's freeware a run for its "money".
  12. Is there anyway that you can turn of the toilet flushing effect at or below 10,300 feet? Its a bit unrealstic hearing the toilet flush on final approach.
  13. I dont have the time to go through this post to see if the issue I am having has been mentioned so I will just proceed. When in flight in any aircraft, when I try to zoom in or out, FSR is blocking me from doing so. Upon closing FSR I am able to zoom again. This only happens when in the flightdeck and I cannot move the zoom slider from within the camera menu in the toolbar.
  14. This is by far the best texture mod for the flightdeck available in my opinion. https://flightsim.to/file/35950/mike-s-737-cockpit-mod
  15. Since the last two days MSFS is failing to keep real time synced. When I start the sim the time is synced, but after a few hours its as if the sim is stuck in a time loop and won't follow the real world time for an area. For example - yesterday I did a return flight from Malaga to Dublin, around the north western tip of France I noticed that it wasn't as dark as I know it should be, low and behold the time was at 17:00, when it was 19:00 in Ireland. France is an hour ahead of Ireland, so it should have been 20:00 and the sun should have been setting. The same thing happened today when on approach to Tel Aviv, it was still late afternoon in the sim when it should have been early evening and a setting sun. I have never had this issue before, and I haven't changed any setting or installed any program that would affect the sims time. Any ideas on what this could be?
  16. I have noticed this since day one in the sim and haven't a clue what causes it. Its most common on objects that move at "speed", a good example is - when clicking on the arm rests in the PMDG 737, you get a very quick burst of three shadows or so as it moves from one position to the other. The same can be seen when panning around and looking at the lamp posts while doing so. Its one of many odd bugs in MSFS.
  17. Which seems to be a very common theme with Asobo.
  18. LOD aside, the main issue for me is seeing snow covered areas in Alaska that are 18+ celsius.
  19. FTsim, you have to subscribe to their Patreon to get the pack, but its well worth it. Only issue is that the engine are audible in the flightdeck which they are not in the real world, hopefully it will be updated to remove said sounds and if so it will be the best pack out there. Its worth it in my opinion, and I am quite picky with sounds (curse of hearing all the flaws in sound).
  20. First would have to be the Leonardo MD82, with a third party soundpack it is truly a wonderful aircraft to fly, one that I never get bored of! Second would be a hard tie between the Fenix A320 and the PMDG 737. Third is the PMDG DC-6, however it is currently uninstalled on my system until PMDG decide to fix the performance issues.
  21. This is not an isolated issue with MK Studios EIDW. Instead its a widespread issue for most if not all users of MSFS. I get a CTD whether I use to MKS EIDW or not. I will try this out tomorrow, but I am not expecting any difference. EDIT: I decided to give this a go. I am able to load into EIDW MKS without any issue whatsoever. I will see how it goes over the next few days as sometimes it is fine and others not.
  22. I've been using Navigraph for a few years now and not once have I thought - "is this really worth the money?" I get more out of my Navigraph subscription than I do my Netflix subscription, eventhough I only pay 4 euro for the 4k package with the latter. The ease of use, the ability to just type in an ICAO and get all the charts I need and that are up to date. Also the nav data updates which are seldomly updated with addon aircraft.
  23. I think its a placebo. I have applied this "fix" and nothing changed.
  24. 5 hours is fine, but 7 to 8+ you will experience performance loss regardless. It also depends on what area in the world you fly in. For example - I can fly from Cork to Tenerife and back to Cork which is a 9 hour round trip when you factor in ground time. With that flight I don't experience any performance loss whatsoever, but when I fly Manchester to Hurgahada and back which is around a 12 hour round trip my performance drops by over 50% halfway through the return flight, and those flights are in the Fenix 320.
