I am not seeing any new drivers on the Nvidia website, just the driver released on 27/10/2022 or 10/27/2022.

I managed to sort my issues out after some further troubleshooting. Turns out the main offender was Hyper Threading. I disabled HT and gained around 15fps on previous sessions in MSFS. A few further tweaking such as using RTSS to limit fps to 36, configuring the settings again in sim and using Vsync outside of the sim via NV Control Panel amonst other things. On the ground at ini Heathrow with most settings on high LOD both set at 100 and some other settings on Ultra I am able to acheive a steady 36fps in the flightdeck of the PMDG 737-800. The fps does drop to between 31 and 29fps when accelerating down the runway but that is to be expected I suppose considering its Heathrow after all. As soon as the wheels leave the runway its back up to a steady 36fps with only slight drops to a low of 34fps. There are some slight stutters when panning around quickly in the flightdeck but it seems that several users are experiencing the same issue which I would assume is an issue with MSFS and not users setups. As smooth as DLSS is the quality just isn't worth it so I have AA set to TAA. I do not have a second monitor.

I have spent all afternoon trying to figure out why my new Zotac RTX 3090Ti is only performing at around 25fps in MSFS with medium to high settings. My 10980XE is overclocked to 4.8, XMP is enabled in BIOS. I updated my BIOS and have the latest driver installed for the graphics card. Re-sizeable bar is enabled in BIOS. Doing benchmark tests with Furmark on the highest preset available I am averaging 122fps with a min of 110fps. GPU is running at a max of 68 celsius and the GPU Power is max 98% TDP. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I have reinstalled the driver using DDU thinking it was a driver issue but its not. I can only run a max of 60Hz with my monitor as its quite old and needs replacing which I will do at the end of this month. I am scratching my head and I am at a road block as to what to do next?

I am getting an error PackageToolConfig version is too low in file (got 0, expected 2). Please update the XML file to correct version. How do I update the XML file to the correct version? I have looked all over and cannot figure it out. All I am trying to do is edit trees around an airport so that its more realistic, but the first stage of building the package is throwing me errors that I do not understand.

A bit off topic, but I am also having issues but with loading saved projects. I have followed many tutorials but still I am facing the same issue with "Project Failed to Load" error message. Its extremely frustrating. Again I know its off topic of this discussion but hopefully it catches someones eye and you know what the issue may be.

Wherever there are static ships in sceneries I see this "wire frame" like structure around the ships, it is most notable when you are at a distance from the ships. What is the cause of this issue and how is it fixed? Scenery is MKStudios Fuerteventura.

Aye, we haven't had much in terms of a decent Embraer or something other than your standard A320 or 737 - not that those are bad, but because nothing "new" has been brought to the table. I haven't ever seen a good 757 for example. I wish the DC9 would make a comeback too, could you imagine how good an old steam guaged DC9 would look in MSFS? I am a frequent user of the MD80 and absolutely love its complexity. I would love to see a 727, 707/720, 747 100, SP, 200 and 300 in the sim also throw in a BAC 1-11 while you're at it!

My top wanted regional aircraft are: DHC8 1,2,3 and 400. Majestic where are you? ATR-42/72 (Milviz is bring the 72 really looking forward to it!). Beechcraft 1900, time to go back 20+ years to you roots PMDG? A220, FSLabs maybe thats a better introduction aircraft for MSFS than another A320 🙄

Cork and Kerry are too, we often have very strong southwesterly winds in Cork making for some difficult landings at times.

I have never owned an ini Builds aircraft before but regardless they have made their way into one of my favourite developers, just their attention to detail and keeping such products up to date and improving on their work is excellent. I look forward to other projects they will be introducing into MSFS in the future.

My sim takes a very short time to load since SU10 with an average of about 3 minutes. It only takes 5 seconds to get from halfway loaded to on the main menu. 6 Minutes isn't bad, when you consider how many mods you may have in your community folder. For instance - when I left the beta (I know you dont have to but I did) my sim automatically deleted everything, that was over 250GB of mods in the community folder...however, the sim was taking atleast 10 to 15 minutes to load so I am very much glad the sim deleted itself eventhough it took me several days to get it back to how it was.

4080 16GB for me. I cant justify the extra cost of the 4090 when the performance chart looks almost identical in the Nividia press release in MSFS. Is the 3090Ti a better deal or not?

I hope they're as detailed as their BAe-146! I also hope they add a digital FMS to both of these aircraft as most if not all 747-100, 200's and A300B4's have been fitted with a digital FMS. I will buy these regardless, I just love flying the challenging classic jetliners.

I simply cannot wait for SU11 and the A310 amongst the other aircraft coming. SU11 is going to be the best update to come for MSFS in its entire history and yes I mean the last several decades.

Its just a matter of not starting the program, if it does start automatically then you can just exit out of the program and the issue will be fixed.

The ease of the marketplace has caused me to be pulled in and buy a lot of scenery from there. I couldn't care about the long wait for updates as long as the scenery works as it should. I do have a lot more scenery from Orbx though as sales are frequent there too.

I think that may be the cause of your issue. There seems to be a rather annoying issue where no matter what aircraft you fly the view continues to descend and pressing F or what ever key you have binded to reset your view it will not reset the view, the only way to reset the viewpoint is to close FSR. I love FSR too, but haven't used it in about two months now because of that persistent issue. I hope the developer of FSR fixes this, as it really is an immersion killer for me.

Do you have FSRealistic installed by any chance?

SU10 + 517.48 + DX11 is running smooth as silk, with medium to high settings and custom shadow resolution set at 4096, everything runs perfect. No stutters and panning is flawless. Still getting a 4080 16GB though 🙂

I was climbing out of Malaga last night and just around 700 feet my flight plan completely disappeared with only the destination airport in the MCDU. That must be a bug as I have never experienced such a thing before. Also the autopilot isn't following the vnav profile, altitude and speed restrictions etc.

The rattle in turbulence is very repetetive I wish they'd improve that, and the airflow sound in cruise sounds a bit "rough".

Same thing happened to me too. I lost everything, but I am glad I did because I had over 100GB of "junk" mods in the community folder, by MSFS uninstalling itself after opting out of the beta (after SU10 release) it allowed me to really go through all the mods I wanted thus saving me a massive amount of space. Thanfully the controller settings weren't deleted, but the graphics were. I wish it Asobo changed how opting out of the beta worked as opting in doesn't delete anything so why should opting out?

I have been flying the PMDG 737-800 in SU10 Beta for the past several weeks and haven't experienced any issue what so ever with the plane.
