  1. I use the following every time and I would miss any one of them: PMDG NGX...it's all I fly anymore FS2Crew NGX EZDOK Ultimate Traffic 2 Radar Contact Active Sky Evolution FSUIPC registered plus LINDA to make my X52 pro work the way I want it to Ground Services X FS Commander Never used much graphic enhancements but I'm always tempted by airport add-ons more than the other stuff.
  2. The download that I got from PMDG already was patched to 1C.
  3. I did the same thing just a few days ago. I bought and installed the 600/700 expansion after having the 800/900 and FS2Crew working with no problems. I didn't get any errors with the PMDG installation but it did cause some problems. I started having problems with "are you sure about that" response to checklists and not being able to contact the ground crew, etc.Turning FS2C off/on did not help and neither did uninstalling and re-installing FS2C. I have not tried a complete uninstall of NGX and FS2C.What did work for me was loading the NGX in 2D mode, starting FS2C, then switching to the virtual cockpit. It works perfect every time. While the 2D mode is a small hassle, it's not too bad.
  4. I recently bought the 600/700 expansion for the ngx and it installed with no problems. Now I'm getting the "you sure about that" problem which I never had before. So far I reinstalled SP1C to both 600/700 and 800/900 but that didn't solve it. I could wait for the FS2C SP or I may uninstall all ngx and FS2C and reinstall unless there is a better idea.Great add on, I'm sure I can get it going again.
  5. Has anyone packaged them together in one zip file or does everyone just grab each airport individually?
  6. Not sure how helpful my suggestion is but...I would run memory and hard drive tests. If they pass then I would do a format and reinstall of the whole system. If you don't know how to do these things then bring it to a pc service shop you trust. The alternative is trying to chase problems for possibly days or more. A format has all the other benefits of a fresh install also.If you don't have any of the original software disc's/keys then you may be out of luck. Formatting is something that you will have to do eventually, it's just a matter of when.Good luck.
  7. I was getting the "flaps up" issue. The freq. change works for me. Easy fix until the patch. Thanks for the great add-on.
  8. A small biz jet would be my preference but it's not a good fit until they expand beyond Hawaii.
  9. I get this when I click on your link. The selected tutorial must be approved before you can perform this actionI would like to take a look at that as I'm sure I would use it. I believe that we use the same controller (x52 pro).EDIT: I found the info on your web site. Thanks!
  10. Screen shots look great. I guess it's more Hawaii but I don't draw any sweeping conclusions from that. The news article about the challenges of making it fun is interesting though. While it would have been comforting to read something like "it's a hardcore sim for the hardestcore simmer", I am not surprised by the language they are using. Fiddle and fun game are words that could be used for FSX as well. There was this line also "Flight is a game that is designed for a wide range of players, not just a typical simulation enthusiast." It's a small bone but they threw it just the same.
  11. I recently tried the 7 day demo and I agree with others in this thread. I really wanted to like VOX but it just didn't handle the AI traffic like I need it to. I've been using UT2 for a while now and it does traffic really well (that's its entire purpose after all). It was difficult to step down from that level of AI traffic. I had other minor glitches with VOX but I think I could have worked those out. So VOXATC was close to getting my money but at $75 US there just wasn't enough to justify it with the drawbacks. I will be keeping my eye on VOXATC though and I hope it improves so I can try again.
  12. I am running the trial of VOXATC (fresh download from VOX site) and I am really close to buying it but I have a problem that is annoying. During flight ATC requests an AI plane to increase altitude, the AI plane responds. This request/response happens over and over until the plane reaches the requested altitude. This has happened in a few flights now. I have Ultimate Traffic 2 installed and did run the bridge tool. I think it is using the UT2 planes but I am still not sure if it is using all of them. I disabled UT2 completely so the UT2 service is not even running. Maybe this was a mistake? I read that disabling UT2 service was the way to go. Also, assuming I can get this issue solved, are there any online stores that sell VOXATC 6 registrations other then the developers site?
  13. They have the scenery working well. My hopes for this release keep going up.
  14. "We see a compelling social aspect to the experience inherent in the fun, and we need to better enable and support this dynamic to strengthen the entire Flight experience for everyone."I wonder if they are going to take a run at replacing the Vatsim experience. IF they have ambitions of having LOTS of pilots flying in a online environment, ATC seems like something they will need to address.Of course, that's a lot to assume from one news sentence, but the possibilities are interesting.
