  1. I run PTA with the IVAO MTL and have no issues with lights. We don't modify Aircraft lights so I'm not entirely sure why they're blaming PTA.
  2. Possible, yeah. PTA is, in the background, having a huge overhaul (completely rewritten with a new UI/UX/features). Although you wont see any new features in the intermittent updates to bring compatibility to the latest versions of Prepar3D, we're working to add all the feature suggestions from users to the bigger update.
  3. Just a quick update - I am currently working with a handful of people testing the new version of PTA for P3D v4.4. It's not a straight forward port from v4.3 so hang tight whilst we work through the issues. I'm hoping to have it ready by the end of today/tomorrow but if not just know that I'm working on it daily.
  4. Afraid not - I'll post an announcement when it's ready.
  5. As always one will be made available over the next few days.
  6. Tomatoshade has many merits but until Prepar3D is at a stage where dynamic reflections don't cause huge performance issues, I am personally staying well clear.
  7. The latest version of P3D is v4.3, this is listed as a download here: Uninstall & reinstall the client module only of P3D, then run PTA as admin and it will be fixed.
  8. It'll be wherever you extracted it to. You don't really "uninstall" PTA, you just restore the shaders back to their original form.
  9. Sorry, I've done something to the server and I actually do not know what. I'm working on fixing it as we speak.
  10. PTA is fine, do not worry about that. This was something completely different.
  11. You need to reinstall the client module. Once you’ve done that, take a copy of the ShadersHSLS folder in P3D then should things not work, you can just restore them by copying them back. Also, once you’ve done that please make sure PTA is running as admin. Right click > Run as Administrator
  12. You can literally get the latest version by visiting the thread pinned at the top of the forum: You don't need to re trigger the prompt. It's an entirely new version, new executable.
  13. Reinstall the P3D CLIENT module only. Once you've done that and you know your P3D version, look at this thread and download the correct version of PTA: Once you've done that, extract it to a DIFFERENT folder than one you've used before and run it as administrator. Activate it and then load/apply your preset. That will fix it.
  14. Delete the settings.res file in the same folder and then re run PTA if you want to re trigger the prompt.
  15. Hi Vernon, Yes, it will. It's the one I use myself on 4.3. Thanks.
  16. Hi there, Quickest way is to reinstall the CLIENT module only of Prepar3D. It wont uninstall any of your addons, it will just reset the shaders to the original ones. Thanks.
  17. lol Adam, ever considered a career in Marketing? 😄 Thanks for the in depth reply - worded it better than anything I could have put together!
  18. You need to reinstall the client module of Prepar3D.
